        -_- it just idiot,

Nope, don't like the sounds of that one bit. Especially if you as a company used it as a boosting point at your keynote.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2016let see how people react about this after release ... o... moreYes of course, and it bothered them on ip7, the phone they would never buy anyway, now when it come on a phone they might buy its mot such a big desl anymore. Some ppl are too concerned about products they dont buy. I was happy when i heard ip7 got rid of the jack, and knewvthat the others would follow appke, they always do, now we can finally start waiting for good stereo BT headsets below $50.

from MY, 07 Dec 2016so now Samsung follow HTC to have type C headphone. sooner,... moreYa and tell me if htc bolt won't be a fail because I think it will be,path followed by htc, I think this decision will just shed of a mm of device, but these mobile companies are trying to bring this reform without any reason

I was planning to wait till March to checkout the new S8 before buying a new phone. Now it seems that I don't have to wait for so long as it is not coming with 3.5mm jack so a big no from me.
Would buy the S7 Edge instead.

oh ~ nobody care , and as usual , people will said theres already android phone get rid the jack before apple did ... apple copy ~

Mike, 07 Dec 2016So it basically means the USB port will be prone to more we... moreThat is my concern as well. Right now my S6 only registers the fast charging 1 out of 5 times I plug the charger cable in, and it's not gonna get better with more stuff plugged into the same port.

No headphone jack! on chinese phone and probably others too

So it basically means the USB port will be prone to more wear and tear because everytime you'll use your headphones you'll have to put the plug there.

I hope at least that Samsung will make this usb port more durable than a usual port that's mainly used for charging.

So first everyone criticizes Apple and then follows their path. To me, it was always a great decision to remove a 100 year old worthless port. The transition is always painful but this is how it needs to be done. Glad everyone is following.
