Some ppl are too concerned about products they dont buy. I was happy when i heard ip7 got rid of the jack, and knewvthat the others would follow appke, they always do, now we can finally start waiting for good stereo BT headsets below $50.

I was planning to wait till March to checkout the new S8 before buying a new phone. Now it seems that I don't have to wait for so long as it is not coming with 3.5mm jack so a big no from me.
Would buy the S7 Edge instead.

So it basically means the USB port will be prone to more wear and tear because everytime you'll use your headphones you'll have to put the plug there.
I hope at least that Samsung will make this usb port more durable than a usual port that's mainly used for charging.

So first everyone criticizes Apple and then follows their path. To me, it was always a great decision to remove a 100 year old worthless port. The transition is always painful but this is how it needs to be done. Glad everyone is following.
