Even though the Arc is not the best phone function-wise, it is the most beautiful phone in the market for my taste. You can convince all you want but I don't want a phone with the best feature but ugly as f**ck.

very nice indeed.hope they can put equalizers in the music player and they dont over-price it.the x10 here in spain is still over 400euros with 1.6 installed and its not exactly a new device.

Are we fashionists or realists? I never knew a phone was better than another phone because it's physical design is unique and does not look like an iPhone. I always judged any particular consumer electronic device on the specs. I'm not saying the Arc is not good, but it's not the best either. You simply have to look at what Motorola, Samsung and LG announced to see that. If you guys truly dislike the iPhone, then you wouldn't buy a phone simply for the design, because that's exactly what the people that bought an iPhone had done.

Very nice display, Sony! I like the way how,in the first picture, reality display delivers the gradients along the middle bar while things get pretty much washed out on the iphone and the other phone. Bravia engine seems to do some real work. Good stuff. Maybe I'll buy Xperia Arc if everything else is good.

This reality display is real sharp. I like it better than samoled and retina. Hope they will release it soon. Arc is gonna replace my galaxy.

still nothing matches the vivid colors and contrast of the super amoled and samsung has just announced the super amoled plus which is even better.

why are we all comparing? it's like comparing the colour of the ink of two pens. if it works fine for you, great, buy it. you don't have to burn the other one so no one can use it.
what i am saying is, if you want to live in a world with enhanced colour, don't shoot down people the who wants to live in reality. sony made, and you should believe that they did, dreamers!

From my point of view the brightness on the Arc at an angle seems a lot better and clearer than the iPhone and the Galaxy S. Why does GSM Arena always slag of Sony Ericsson phones??? They make it so obvious they dont like Sony Ericsson so why do you even bother reviewing them! The X10 series were the first Android phones and yes they wont the best, but as Sony Ericsson has understood the OS better they have improved and produced a stunning looking phone. I think the screen on this handset beats the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S. Lets just wait for some reviews from unbiased people and we will then see truly how stunning this phone is. The only down side I would say is that Sony Ericsson has not use Dual Core processors. Apart from that this will be the best phone on the market so all you haters out there keep hating. NOKIA has no chance of competing with this beast!

I really like the phone,liked the x10 too but i would never stick to them,never theless i belive manyh will and good for them that is what it means to have diversity so people can chose what atracts them the most.
About the display onestly i cannot say more than,it's just a "thing" does not make big diffrence,when i first saw GS display i was amazed,after i would've not traded for my nexus one cause seemed the same.
I do apreciate that SE use something diffrent in theyr design and lot all like iphone or htc.
I must say i use bluetooth hedsets from sony also liveview and i like the gadgets.
Stop fighting ppl for being in the center of atraction,bashing or overpowering doesn't make you famous or anything like that,it is all about tastes.
