ramin, 10 Jan 2011this phone is manufactured by htc?!haha htc phone with son... morehaha , this sony erricson xperia arc is manufactured by htc, built by samsung from all the scrap that the scrap maker nokia could produce and finally assembled by motorola. now its being shipped by apple with apple logo so anyone interested?

[deleted post]i will not trust sony ericsson again .when i brought Sony Ericsson X10 also announce this phone can update to android 2.2 .But now cancel .Now i used sony ericsson x10 update to android 2.1 for the firmware will get many problem always auto restart . Sony Ericsson is it i will brought ur smartphone next time.i think i will not !!!! Sony sorry make fo.o.l

my friend boutgh this phone it is good looking and nice but problem is it is running older os android 1.6 what is sony ericsson problem now android 2.4 is ready but sony erocsson using 1.6 i will never buy sony ericsson phone agian

... moreNo. There is nothing wrong with the Android UI you troll. The UI is miles ahead of your beloved N8. What I am saying is having Matias Duarte, we can expect to have future iterations of vanila Android to be as polished and as good as Palm's WebOS who Matias designed.
You are also saying that Android's fast pace of development will leave more manufacturers behind, well I say that it's a plus as the manufacturer who can upgrade and react fast like HTC will blaze the trail and attract even more customers. SE learned its lesson and that's why they are shipping their next lineup with the latest Android. Things are getting better and manifacturers are learning from their past mistakes.
Trolls like you, deep space bar, got nothing good to say about Android but will sing praises on whatever product will come out from Nokia. I guess there's not enough Nokia news for you and that's why you always post on Android news and plug your beloved Symbian and N8.

this phone's design is unique,as in no copy from other manufacturer,however,the 3.5mm jack shouldn't be on the side,unless a person has big pockets where the phone can lie on its side and the thinner the thing is,the easier it is to break.like the iphone4
the new tech in the phone:bravia engine & exmor R sensor is a sony original.no copy from other manufacturer.
