LCD is the liquid film layer in front that contains the pixels... it is lighted up by a CCFL tube or color corrected white LED's... this white LED's has a perfect pure white Kelvin range. CCFL tubes tend to go pink after a few years...
But the Display is actually totally black, and litted up by the LED's or the previous CCFL Tubes... (Cold Cathode Fluorescent)

i just cant believe SE made this phone! seems like a sweet dream but thanks god its true.. i was waiting for the x10 to get cheaper and buy it.. now i guess i have to wait longer for the ARC :(

This phone seems to do it all for me. Its stylish, its fast, the camera quality is amazing ( especialy with the bravia engine) The ui looks amazing as always. Definatly considering this as my upgrade. Finaly sony, your getting your game together.

yes brothers we will see what will this phone will bring to you the ericsson community>>>you will never can say after bying it that its better than galaxy coz galaxy s is the best even it was released since 6 month but it is the best phone tell this moment after all phones is released in last few months and this x.arc also will be same one of the tails that run after galaxy s but cant catching it....loooooooooool

Iphone still rules. It's still being compared to newcomers. It's exciting to think about what the next iphone would be like. I hope a 3.7 screen w/ dual core.

i think viewing angel and contrast of reality display is better than retina and super LED

Looked very careful at illustrating photos of the three phones respective screen performance.
That was revealing !!
Here, on GSM Arena, the Samsung SUPER Amoled screen is repeatedly praised as *the* best (or one of the best) there is.

Stavros, 07 Jan 2011SGS looks cheap, like an iPhone clone. SE's design are way betterI agree that Galaxy is feels cheap and looks cheap. But i dont like iphone at all.....
SE are going for own good slim design!
