09 December 2016
"If you spot any other vendor (excluding Google) releasing this faster than us, prepare your rotten tomatoes!" the company said.

You don't w... moreBruh I'm just stating facts no need to get all defensive on me, the regular Z5 has shitty battery life no ifs ands or butts about it. Those Note 7 jokes are old and tiresome, they're as stale as the jokes about the SD810 overheating, do you see anyone talking about that anymore after the fantastic SD820 was released and used by practically all OEMs? Same thing will happen after Samsung releases the S8, the Note 7 will be an afterthought, a remnant of the past.

Anonym, 10 Dec 2016Well, let me see if I get this... Sony, the brand who coul... moreAs we Sony owners need the security patches, we mostly don't.
You see if samsung fans are stupid enough to install every shit they see, it's not google's fault. You need to stop with these security issues, they are almost like computers now and needed to be treated like ones. Don't enter dangerous websites, don't download stuff you don't know, don't install stuff you don't need, don't open mails that you know nothing about and have an antivirus installed too.

Most Sony users don't need the security patches because they are not stupid. They know how to keep their phones secure, mostly.
By all means the security patches are important yes.. how samsung is doing with S6 security patches btw? or android 7?
Any plans to support their one year old flagships? No?.. well come back to me when you have a case.

thats why average class people in there prefer cheaper brands like xiaomi, lenovo, etc. the rich class people prefer apple and sammy.
      no place for sony.

At first I thought you were a regular fan who had issues with Sony z5, but apparently your samking clearly has brainwashed you.

I guess this is good idea n well implemented project by sony. But the problem in India with Sony is ,it's loosing the mobile market because of companies like one+, Lenovo, Redmi. This give really good deals for a cheap price. I would like to give Sony.co.in ,One honest suggestions; please work on your pricing strategy!! Eg: the Sony Xperia xa ultra cost rs26000 Inr, which is over expensive , that too with a 3 gb ram only n 2700 mah battery. Where as the one +3 gives a 6 gb ram in 28 ks ,4000 mah battery and rst all the same .
But Android 7.1 is a good work altogether for all sony Xperia phones .

They're the ones who makes the sensors in a lot of phones and yet their camera/picture quality is mediocre at best and not close to their competitors, how is that possible it must be due to really shoddy software and post processing. And the camera starts to overheat like crazy even while recording in FHD! I understand if it was UHD but come on this is embarrassing just like their cringy foreign fans.

It rains here like everywhere else and yet I don't have any fears about my phone getting wet because I'm attentive and take good care of it and wouldn't use it during a serious downpour. Vast majority of phones don't have water resistance only now is the feature become more popular because of Crapple. It's not a deal-breaker at all and the last thing I consider when purchasing a new device. You sound paranoid dude or just really negligent.

First, the return to the 'cave era' for Samsung and Apple is (besides being a dumb comment) something you do not want to see as they are both the driving standard of the industry. That is to say that other manufacturers up their game in the mobile tech market to compete with them both, the better they keep getting, the harder the likes of Sony, HTC, LG etc. have to try (and the more they improve as a result).

Now in the future that could change, and other companies could assume that mantle, but that doesn't look to be on the cards anytime soon. Apple's slowing iPhone sales only put them out in front by a slightly smaller margin (there still pocketing around 90% of the profits in mobile space), and Samsung have shrugged off the recent Note 7 debacle will little real overall affect (a disaster that could likely have sunk other company's).

As for your other comments about what OS is buggier than the other, and if you put this chip in that phone then this'll happen...blah blah blah, we'll like I said earlier have a look at the articles on Anandtech for more information on that score, their points of view differ somewhat from yours, and I for one know who I am likely to believe more.

I haven't seen any other device offering what it does. Stereo speakers, waterproofing, great camera, flawless software, beautiful design, great screen, superb gaming power etc. I don't understand you. Yes x series weren't what we consider flagship, by all means im with ya on that. But Z5 is another story.
And it's a blunt hate I see you have against Sony phones in general which can make you a troll. When you find a phone other than Sony with stereo speakers, waterproofing, great camera, durable design, fm radio, msd slot and great software then come back to me.
You have no case, only an opinion when I'm talking with facts. See the difference?
