DenisXD, 09 Dec 2016hardware shity? Premium metal hardware shity? And plastic s... moreI'm gonna have to disagree with you, sir. Sony makes terrible phones nowadays. They are buggy and flawed in both their hardware and software. The Xperia X and X Performance are some of the worst offenders, with questionable build quality (and water resistance, Pocketnow has proof of an external gap appearing when you take out the SIM card slot), bad cameras (ESPECIALLY from a company that MAKES their own camera sensors), and they overheat like crazy (those things rival the LG G3 and HTC One M9 when you open the camera). Plus those designs I'm not a fan of, and the price premium, makes a TERRIBLE combination. Their software looks nice, and they keep the time between when the Nexuses (and Pixels!) get a major version of Android, and when their phones do, quite short. I'm gonna wait for something worthwhile from them until I buy Sony

I just really can't get behind Sony's design language, and those bezels are just too big. Their cameras are oddly terrible for being from a major camera maker, and they just won't give up their 1080p display! (Which is fine for cheaper phones, but I'd like one on the $700 Xperia XZ. As someone who plays games on his phone, is really like to see a good processor and GPU in there, which you don't get until you form over some major bucks to them. Oh, and there's always the problem of them overheating, especially when the camera's open. I really haven't found any justification to get one over other offerings in the Android market

I have an Xperia, i bought it in 2012 and it still working although it only has 1G of ram. I like their music player. I wish they open it for other device not just Xperia exclusive. It's second to none music player. My Audio Bible play there chronologically according to the scriptures not like any other music player which play alphabetically.

AnonD-312515, 10 Dec 2016Water proofing is a luxury/novelty feature not a necessity,... moreI need the waterproofing feature, my phone can safe even drop in to water, you phone can't even a slightly splash will frighten you, you can't wash your phone, but it will make you worry when the raining coming during your out door activity.
I love waterproofing feature with my Z2.

And only if Sony truly focuses on their mobile division, gg for Apple and Samsung. They'll go back to their cave era where Sony is the only recognized industrial brand for technology. Exynos 8890 is powerful enough to beat an iPhone 7 128GB model because the heavy TouchWiz software is what limits the use of that processor. So an XZ with 8890 is an iPhone killer. Each year, iOS gets buggier and much worse, while Androids get smoother, more stable, and even faster than iOS. In the near future, we'll see a counterpart where it is Apple who has to come close to Android's performance. If the 3T with 821 is faster than the iPhone 7 in apps opening, then software is the left deciding factor of how fast an 835-powered phone will be. The Adreno 540 is going to have better frame rate capabilities than the PowerVR GPU of the iPhone 7, like it can natively run any 2K display phones with no issues at all. I don't hate Apple, but Androids are easily gaining up to their Golden Age of the OS where iOS would be inexistent. Even the sales of the iPhone 7 gets lower and lower each year. One of the reasons why is the iOS which offers nothing more than the previous ones. They only update it for the number, not the improvements

Stop all your nonsense. Second, the OP3 is nowhere near the quality of Sony's performance. Let's give the two phones a year of usage, and I can guarantee that the XZ will be faster because of SOFTWARE OPTIMIZATION, yeah that's right. What good is a stock android and high end specs but not truly optimized for it? I prefer the slightly slower phone with consistent performance in the long run than a phone that is only fast at the very beginning but loses the magic within a month or two of usage. Third, Sony fans are the true humans. We at least have a brain and they can use it intelligently and wisely. We spend our money for quality and not on specsheet. We're not easily fooled by fake crap 2K AMOLED display or gimmicks for 6GB of RAM. Don't believe me? I challenge you to use an Xperia XZ for 1 year and let's see if it's still as smooth as it was new

XZ costs $600 whereas the OP3 is $400, heck even the top-of-the-line OP3T is a better bargain than XZ or the $500 XP, not to mention you get a near stock experience which results in very fast performance, and it doesn't overheat while recording FHD/4K videos and offers better battery life. Guess Sony fans don't like spending their money wisely, they only care about their precious brand.

That said putting the 8890 in the XZ would have done little to the performance on that device, it certainly would not have produced an iPhone speed killer. In terms of mobile SOC performance Apple have an overall lead that it appears nobody is breaking anytime soon. Suggest you read some of the articles over on Anandtech regarding this very issue if you want the pro's take on such things.
The Snapdragon 835 will likely bench higher in multi core performance than the A10 (as it's supposed to rock 8 Kryo cores......8!!!!), but continue to lag behind in single core. Also the Adreno 540 is right now looking to be only very slightly faster than the Still unnamed GPU in the A10,
Like Apple or not, any serious fan of tech can couldn't help but be impressed by the fact that they have managed in just a few short years to come from behind to a position where they are forcing even the likes of Qualcomm and Samsung into playing the catch-up game.

Sony provide better options than other smart phone somewhere it's quite less in function but it's good at performance when I buy Sony phone I just thinking that is totally rubbish phone in sence of functions than after sometime of use I realise that's I was wrong 😂😂 I would try Sony new release phone rather than I phones 😉
