i really think nokia are letting themselves slip!!! they have done well with the N series but this 6288 is a joke!!!! and the 6280 is even worse with the flimsyist slider i have ever seen.

this is ridiculous... this phone is identical with 6280!! wat upgrades are u talking about when u can easily purchase the things they upgraded from anywhere else?? (in this case, the memory card and battery!!)... get a life nokia!! is it so hard for them to add it some new features such as WIfi or 3.2mp camera maybe?? at least upgrades the functions, not the options!!! wake up nokia!!

What i like about this is that there's Video Ring tones, you can imagine a video of your friends saying "PICK UP!" :) First i've heard of this feature, does any other phone have this already? Keypad doesn't look as good as the 6280 though i suspect it'll be slightly easier to use.

I have NOKIA 6280. It seriously needs a bigger memory if you think of storin any songs or video in the phone. The 6280 looks better than the 6288 as the latter looks cheap

i just got nokia 6280..it is a cool phone but the 2 megapixel camera not satisfiy me..the battery does't last longer and it keep on restarting...
i hope this new 6288 will satisfiy me..

Well, I have been using the 6280 fone since it is inmy hand the resaon the nokia think is only to improve the battery bcaz the predecessor battery is only 24 hours .
I hope that it would be the same but more storage capacity and a better battery

Its a good handst with gud sound quality and having some good features. can somebody tell me that would b i able to install 3rd Party software.

For what they're going to improve, it's not worth upgrading from the 6280 to this phone... Now if they were to offer a 4Mp camera then i'd be interested.

The design of nokias phones is great and bad.With great design are 6131,n70/72,73xx,8800,6680,e52 and much,much more.And with bad design are n93,n90,e60,6270,6085,n-gage,6288,6101 and much,much,much,much more
