hey nokia creator!wow i damed love this 6288 cellphone and after 3 days later,my phone got distorted!!!owyeah!!!!when i went to the nokia center and i told them about the phone,they said"i do not bealive this phone had distorted after 3 days you've must dropped it"....well,i got to pay for the repaired cost me 250 just because of the lcd...hey!get up man!!!!!those nokia factory worker pls dun sleep while you are working.....same goes to my big bro,he bought a n95i and the ringing tone were so soft...follow by the soft wear were problems after 4 weeks of using it....nokia,nokia,,,,,,what are you doing.....i rether use phone cards and pager back to the old days ya......get a life man dont xpact people get for you a life ya.....thank you for exist nokai6288 to users..i love it....

My nokia 6288 phone sometimes doesn't respond when i'm pressing on keys and i can't play realplayer music
how can i get programs for it

Just got my 6288 today and have to say it seems like a pretty good handset. Only problem, and it is annoying is that it refuses to connect to PC Suite using hte USB cable.
My 6235 connects everytime with no drama's but this one just refuses to communicate.
Might have to ring Nokia tomorrow I think!

At the moment I seem to be having some rather... unpleasant problems with my Nokia 6288. The card slot isn't working... But other than that it's brilliant, except for the fact that it crashes sometimes and also gets grime in the slider.
Apart from that, it works a treat!

Im looking into nokia 6288 and thinking ofbuying. Is anyone having problems with it? Is the voice good, and camera,radio, bluetooth all working properly?

sometimes my phone when in playng a game or watching something the screen shuts off for about 2 seconds and deletes or interupts whatever it is that im doing

I am having constant problem with nokia 6280.After reloading new software with the help of nokia service centre, the problem has restarted.common problem is that the voice cracks.Whenever I on the camera, the mobile shuts off. My phone always gets diconnected on its own by saying error in connection.Can somebody guide me what to do with this handset.

misha : Yes you can! It is only when you lift off, you cannot use any electrical devices. When the seatbelt sign goes off your aloud to use electrical devices but you can't use mobile phones only because of the signal waves but thats why you can turn it off and then its allowed!
So yes it is good!

oh come on,offline mode is useless in airplanes! you are not allowed to use any electronic devices in it!

It depends on what you mean the same. The K750 does not have the plane function which turns off radio signals on your phone so you may listen to music with your phone on, on a plane, but the W800i does and it is a differnt covering. The D750 is exavtly the same as the K750 without the plane function but looks like a w800 which I thought was pointless.

To be frank, its better to buy a 1100and a HP 5 mega pixel camera with audio, video playback and card slot. is better . Bcs you have to spend only an amount equal to the price of a 6680.. picture will be more professional, screen will be big, price will b less...... spending money for N series is a real waste...

it didnt fix bugs and sony ericsson diod that as it was a differnt design, not changing one button lol and made it so u could lsitne to music on the plane and increase memory which is fine. its internel memory is good anyway

geez you people sony ericsson did the same with the k750... released a w800 with the a different design slightly software change.. a 512mb card instead 64mb and people won't complain, nokia does the same and Also increase the battery and fix bugs and you people complain.. blah blah its the same thing.. etc. geez get a life.

Camera on the 6280 was sub par. If nothing was changed, then why are we wasting out time with this phone.

What is the point of this update. Ok, battery is better, and yeah the 512mb card is good but they really need to give the phone more internal memory! It's pathetic and is better to have more internel memeory than external. Also, I have the 6280 and it says on the timer thing when I'm recording video that I have 19 seconds left and as soon as it reaches 19 or 18 it says unable to save! Plus it would be nice if it had a wallet so you could put private stuff in there.. Plus if it had WI FI, it would be complete! 2MP camera is too noisy too! Why? Why make good phones but with things lacking, but then make another phone that has the things that were lacking in the other phone but then lack in gereral things that the other one had! Oh well, but I hope my opinion helped.

Honesstly, I really like Nokia's design department. Great looking fone and stylish slide.
- Lub the design [Slide Fone]
- 3G and Video, Great music quality
- 2MP [poor quality, but I'm okay w/ it]
I heard Nokia 6280 has many problems. If all the problems from the previous version are fixed, this fone is one KIC-AZZ!
[SE W850 has no chance.]

Maybe u should check and compare the back section of the phone .The video is recorded at 640 X 480 pixels at 15 frames per second ,equal resolution to 6600's still photo ,which is a great achievement !
The secret :-Since ,6288 has slow OS (UI 4) ,the system resources are better utilised .I have a N91 which records videos 15 fps but only at 352 X 288 pixels and this is same for all N-series sets except for N93(640 X 480 ,30 fps)
So, video recording in 6288 gets full marks from my side .
By the way ,did u know that high resolution videos are better viewed on computer screen than mobile ?

their difference lies in: video resolution (640x480 from 176x144 pixels), better battery and better memory card-- that's about it
