Apple is no longer allowed to use refurbished iPhones as service replacements in Denmark

Consider if I bought a new phone and that too an iPhone paying double the price .. Now it malfunctions , first it must not malfunction bcz I paid that price be coz of service not bcz of hardware bcz iPhone is way behind other phones in hardware n software department ( my 5s freezes often and lags at times ) .. But still if the phone unit malfunctions it should be replaced and replaced with a new unit .. That's why we pay extra money to Apple .. Refurbished unit in return is a shame an insult to the loyal customer .. Dnt insult ur customers Apple dnt hit their dignity

Denmark is right. Apple and any cellphone maker should be held to replace a cellphone with a new one if its is the manufacture wrong doing. I buy a phone 1 month ago somehow its goes bad and don't work like its suppose too. You tell me you get the right to send me a used one as replacement. The what refurbishd are used phone that been clean up to look new.

Repair and if not possible new or money back, should be a good company policy. Yes, the consumer may gain by getting a newer product after a period of use, but good companies would see that as some compensation for the time, cost and trouble in getting te problem fixed.

I hand in my prestine hardly used but broken iPhone, and Apple hand me a heavily used secondhand phone (with new covers) that has been dropped countless times, put through the washing machine a number of times, and probably dropped in their toilet too.
Come on Apple. Give me a new phone under warranty. It was your responsibility to provide me with an iPhone that didn't stop working soon after I purchased it. Secondhand phones suck. They are simply not as reliable as a new phone.

Now, we know how cheap Apple is. They replaced damaged goods with refurbished goods. And call that customer services? Lets say you order an expensive food but its part of it has gone bad, do you think they refurbished the food a bit and serve it again? No. They re-make the whole damn thing!

If I get some careplan and my phone dies, I expect a new phone or at least the value of a new unit. That's what I pay for with my careplan.
If I don't have a careplan when my phone dies but the damage is covered under the warranty, I could accept a refurbished unit, on the condition that the warranty remains and there's no previous user damage to the phone.
(If I would walk around with a scuffed phone, at least it's by my own stupidity.)

very standard for manufacturers to offer a refurbished. it's a refurbished because the cx is handing in a used unit, so used unit for used unit is fair.
