Even though I have used iPhones since the 3GS I have always looked at the Note Series but deemed it not to my liking with regards to Android (did try the HTC M8 & it was the worst phone decision I have made) but seen the N7, like the design, was going to go for Silver, like the S-Pen features & having played around my fiancees S6 I was thinking that Android & TouchWiz has really improved, Samsung cameras have always blown iPhones out of the water as well.
My G5 is ok, lags a bit from time to time, but I got it so I can get used to Android again. If Samsung release a decent phone, hopefully a Note, then I might go for it next year.

Worse battery than even note 5. It may have iris scanner and smarter s pen, but surely not worth it if you had s7 edge or note 5.

You Samsung Fanboys have such a massive hatred for Apple that you forget that it was not Apple that removed the jack first, it was Motorola/Lenovo so if they are going to copy anyone, it will be them, NOT APPLE!
Also, powerusers, just because a port is gone does not mean you will not be able to do the same things that a phone with the jack can do.
The biggest deal breaker of any phone for me is the performance, if it lags, shuts down, has a terrible battery life & can not do what I want it to do efficiently then there is no point.
& people who say that people will buy phones because they are brainwashed by the manufacture......Smartphones are not a cult, no one forces anyone to buy their handset. We are all free to get the handsets we want! Stop referring to Smartphone manufactures as a cult!

Bc they make phones that can call and text like the first ones. Apple copy, try to patent and then sue Sammy for the copy. Sammy didn't copy at first, but lately they have gone Apple. If you look back in time and at the Sammy vs apple war, you would see who is the biggest copy machine and who really started the war. Htc copied Apple design, but Apple did nothing bc they knew Htc was no threat.

And enable game launcher from setting. it lets you save battery while gaming. you can make your resolution 1080p and cap the frame rate to 60fps.
but I don't think there's any phone that even lasts SOT 3h during intense use (gaming)!
check xda too see if others are getting the same performance as you. otherwise something might be wrong with your software/hardware.
Sadly all phones have terrible battery lifes. you just have to wait for new technologies! Lithium batteries are just terrible. you haven't tried working with them in anywhere else( I do electronics as a hobby and working with them is a huge pain, they need specific methods of charging and care otherwise they explode. you have to cut-off the voltage at a certain voltage too)

People said the same about hardware keyboards, about replaceable batteries, CD players on desktops, floppy disks.
There are people who'll always whine about any changes. But the world moves on, nevertheless.

I travel a lot so I always listen to music to bore myself out of boredom.
