it's a "mistake" from google to make you drop your nexus and buy their google pixel phone

this is just a google "mistake" against Huawei because:

      1) Huawei refuse to make google pixel phones
      2) Nexus 6P is selling more better maybe than google pixel phones !

Maybe the google try to force switch the nexus 6P user to pixel bullshit phones, and is a very ugly thing to do by google.

So glad I ditched it and bought a Lumia 950Xl. OnePlus and all Android manufacturers can keep their "smartphones" to themselves. Only Windows or iOS for me, from now on.

Using a Nexus 6P running Android 7.1.1, really great phone.
No problems whatsoever, so maybe this issue is related to the early batches.

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2016Google provide security updates for more than 2 years, its ... moreSecurity update from the date of launch of the device. So if you buy your Nexus later than launch day, you have less than 2 years.
What sort of new features that you want an older iPhone to magically have over a newer iPhone? Besides, Google is also moving to a similar model, with some features being exclusive to the Pixel, including 24/7 support built in to the Pixel. Don't have that on any Nexus nor 7.1.1 phones.

I had the same issue. when it was under 15% when oppening the camera or a random app it would shutdown by itself and battery drop right to 0%. Needed the charger to restart it because battery indicated 0. First happend on Nougat 7.0. Waited for the 7.1.1 update but it was the same issue. it hasn't been fixed. Having the phone in warranty i was at the service and they replaced the battery and display for free. Since then no more shutting down. Problem solved. So i think the issue is with the batteryes from a year ago because i have another friend with a nexus from this year and it never happend to him.

I faced some of these issues when updating from Lollipop to Marshmallow on my Droid Turbo XT1254. The would sure at 7℅, so I recalibrated the battery and now it's fixed. Battery recalibration on Droids is easy enough.
