6-inch Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is on the way alongside 5-inch S8

23 December 2016
New rumors from South Korea say the bigger model will have almost the same physical size as the Galaxy Note7, but fit a bigger screen thanks to smaller bezels.

Oh yes of course I have being trying and waiting to get mate 9 or mate 9 pro but no where to get it from. Is very scarce so I will buy this powerful phone coming soon. May be they still want to do the UHD Display and the is why they want to do 6 inches screen display this time. Well we are waiting.

Almost all usage of a phone is better with a larger display. Plus you tend to get better battery life thanks to the bigger battery. Unless you use your phone on the go a lot, its a no brainer to go with a larger phone.

Oh why Samsung, from 5 to 6 inches is too wide. Well if you would do 6 inches one then I think you should do 3 difference variants this time. The middle one of 5'5 is very important. Then again it would be wonderful if u could do lite version of the S8 it would increase the number of customers who could buy your phone S8 siblings.

[deleted post]yeh yeh yeh we know, its about as believable,.. as a*ple didn't hack the note 7, when millions of phones went down the same production line all safe and still working and @ 5 burn up in prominent places. Have you heard timmy's cover of "we didn start the fires"

6-Inch flagship Samsung phone. Finally, the perfect size! ;)

Do you also use a 15 inch monitor?

They should just make sure the battery has enough room to account for the slight expansion by the battery which was probably to blame for the Note 7 problems. I will hope they put in a 4000+mAh battery on the S8 plus.
I am really reluctant to part from my Note 4..i was hoping to grab the Oneplus 3T 6GB RAM/128GB or the Mate 9 but both are hard to come by. That means i might carry my hunt to the early part of 2017...looking for that flagship device with minimal bezels of (85+% stb ratio) and a Huge juice pack.

Again, if the S Pen is a "must-have," people would be switching to Note 5, not S7 Edge. You can say whatever your preference is, but it doesn't change the facts. Facts are Facts, evidence, data, as shown by Samsung.

Just wait for three to four months to see it's fire proof qualities. Now a days they go for bigger batteries, in small spaces. The thin separators get blown out resulting in explosions. So wait for a period before buying high performance battery powered phones.

6" screen with front facing speakers and I'll actually consider giving Samsung another shot from my Nexus 6p.

Wasn't the reason the note 7 exploded because they tried to fit to much in too little space? Sounds like the s8 plus may be samsungs second hand grenade
