If Samsung choose to remove the port it will not make the phone perform any less. I hate myself for saying this but to avoid the Note7 fiasco Samsung need to slow down & make sure that handset is fully tested & QC have signed it off, not worry about the competition & getting their handset out before anyone else, but actually look at everything.
The removal of the port is neither here nor there!
If they hike the price up then it had better be justified!

Why too much variations in screen sizes every year?. cant Sammy keep screen sizes same and change the specs?. 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6" phones only.

Coming from a long line of iPhones, I'm greatly looking forward to switching over to the new S8. I hope the price isn't insane like the 7 Plus though. I've completely lost faith in Apple as their OS is getting sloppy, hardware is glitchy, etc.
No company is perfect, but I think it's time to give Samsung a shot.

Saying the phone blows up wasn't funny, u don't judge a person, company ir an establishment by one mistake. Samsung is the best out there (talking about phones for now) they are creative, stylish and av a beautiful finishing!!!! I seriously think this phone is amazing, can't wait to see what they have cooked up for the next note series coming out (Samsung galaxy notes are just the best). Keep up the food work Samsung, from your number one fan, leobond!!!

tbh, Im not a fan of bezel-less screen. I have s7e, and while it looks beautiful, I find it hard to hold it without touching the sides of the screen, so I got a case to have that pseudo bezel

They're a very smart company that flew a little too close to the sun, they've learned from their ways and 2017 will be the year of Samsung and maybe Apple depending on what they do with their 10th anniversary iPhone.

Trends change. A 5 inch phone was considered big in past , now people say 5inch thankyou i need bigger.
Samsung should release a 5.5,6.0 and 6.2 S8 with lesser screen to body ratio, preferably no home button and embed the fingerprint scanner inside the display

Why would Samsung stop the Note series when the Note series is a true definition of what makes a large phone a Phablet. There is no phone like it on the market so they have a market for it.
& BTW......not related to the comment I am replying on but......the award for the most over used joke on a Smartphone forum goes to the the Note7 & most people commenting about it blowing up! -_-

Let's remember that even if the screen were 100% to body ratio, a 6 inch screen would have a limit of 75mm width, which is slightly bigger than a Note 7, unless they change the aspect ratio which would also affect resolution.
