screen size isn't the problem. for example, if samsung can make 6 inch screen with body size of iphone 5, everybody will love it. screen to body ratio is what matters

Let's hope the S8 will be smaller than the S7 then... should be possible if there's no home button nor mini jack.
Soon they will probably also skip the speakers and the mic... so you have to use a headset 24/7... maybe they will offer an implant!

That's why so many manufacturers have given up, it's smart for Samsung to stick to their original strategy of releasing the S series first then the Note series later, trust me they know what they're doing.

Shld just do away with Note series and focus on flagship S-series having varies flagship spec models :
S8 (5" screen)
S8 edge (5.5" screen)
S8 Plus (6" screen)
S8 Tab (7" screen)
S8 Note (5.7" with stylus)
Maybe even a large tablet S8 Tab Plus at 8.4" screen size.
These will suffice.

The size keeps changing. Samsung havent decided which size they want to release. Guess how many prototype they had made since S8 rumors started. The size changed from 5.0", 5.1", 5.5", 5.7", 5.9", 6", 6.2" for both small & big S8. Is it so hard to make a simple smartphone that dont explode? All the chinese brands make it look so easy.

If they have 5" and 6"... and dont auto explode, why they try and try to need revive the Note, was a hard scratch and I dont think that recover the trust in this phone again, less if the specs are low than S plus like the note 7 and the S7 plus, for my was a dissapoint when I did read.

There will be 5.2'' and 5.7'' Galaxy S8 versions. Period.
And they will be almost same phone body size, like this year's GS7/7Edge versions(if not even smaller)
Do not be fooled easily.
