Symbian is more functional, resourceful and power efficient than Android. The only edge Android has over Symbian is the eyecandy UI which is not everything. Symbian is overall better than Android. I would rather have an OS with simple but user-friendly UI and has way more functions and less restrictions than an OS with fancy UI with poor multimedia functions and doesn't allow installation of ten dozens of apps all at the same time and eats up the battery fast.

Are you serious people? Are you gonna pay a huge amount of money for the processor or for the feature set? Yes, E7 has only 680MHz processor but by now everybody knows that Symbian performs better at 680MHz than most of Android at 1GHz.

nokia has really done it this time... MWC in feb, newer n more cpable phones will be announced, n they sell this for 600... even if its said as a pre order price, the real price would be at approx. 500 euro or so.. they will fail.... bye2 symbian

When handsets like galaxy s nokia n8 are costing 350 euro why this piece of sh.. is costing 600 euro. It has almost same hardware as nokia n8. Camera degraded to 8mp FIXED FOCUS with led flash. Added QWERTY keyboard, increased screen size to 4" and ROM to 1GB doesn't justify the 600 euro price tag. The price of max 400 euro would have been fine. They better launch it soon. Otherwise nokia might have to sell it at 200 euro. 5 times better phones have been launched this year at CES. Nokia better check websites of others even if they were absent at the show.

this is my first choice, but releasing is super delay, so i bought n8 last dec1,2010, why e7 is too expensive than n8 is more fun spec and features. 600euro plus tax? who can buy this overpricing its better if meego os?

they are asking too much for this device. The mobile conference is this feb and a whole array of phones will be released. Many people will skip this because of the new announced phones. If nokia asked for 299 euroes then that would have been fair. But 600 is way too much for a device that still runs symbian.

emmanuel, 19 Jan 2011nokia has finally failed! after d delay, outdated os, etc, ... moreactually for a phone with a business centric mind the features are pretty much ahead. symbian aint that bad, just because the ui is not the best doenst mean is outdated. preorder prices is always higher than the retail price
