for me the phone is not just great but the best of them all. What kills it here in the US are the carriers manipulation to nickle and dime us. If the whole of Europe already have 2.2.1 then what are we waiting for in the US if not to just get us to buy another new phone. Look to US customers no buying any until the update comes. I for one will continue to buy Samsung products but warning to all US carriers suck. Can someone show me how to trick kies to get me the 2.2.1 update on my captivate.

I've had 2.2.1 for 3 weeks now. It's really the best one so far. I'm really happy with it. It's very fast and snappy. I've always had problems with the slow keyboard, especially when using messenger applications. But it's not an issue anymore. I love SGS with 2.2.1!

Just upgraded Galaxy S to latest official 2.2.1 in the UK through Kies, this build is much more faster and Galaxy S doesn't require any lagfix now. Worth upgrading if you can get it.
