Finally, a phone that doesnt have massive top and bottom bezels from sony. It looks good for once.
The thinness worries me though, they should have no less than 3,500mah battery in 2017.

Therere are many overpriced phones out there, Sony ones included. But E5 for 150$, X for 300$, XZ for 550$ are not.
Or are, depending if you are satisfied with cheaper mobile solutions

All I can see is other phones lacking qnovo battery care soultions, 23 mpx cameras, triple image sensors, 5axis stabilisation, smart UI managment, X reality engine, 4k screens, dual hifi sound speakers, inbuilt noise cancellations, ldac hires bt sound, h265 video coding, etc...
Id say Sony is ahead in so many things...

Hope Sony make phone with stylus and bezelless 6 inch screen. That would be great. I miss stylus I was using on p900. Just hope sony doesnt make curved screen because it is useless.

Humm...interesting.
They have changed the Xperia logo font too. Could be good, but is the front panel that leaked earlier from this or another phone? Hard to say from the image presented.

Sony MUST sort out the camera and camera UX! I wanted to buy an XZ because it looks lovely, is fast, the screen is fantastic, has USB-C, is waterproof and has a nice build of Android. But, other than lack of wireless charging, the camera suffers from:
1. Awful UX (fiddly to use)
2. Poor quality (mushy details due to over compression/noise reduction)
3. Separate 4K app that overheats phone and does not offer a PAUSE feature during recording, unlike 1080P mode. (Pausing whilst recording saves on a load of separate video clips that then need to be edited together. Great for video blogging!)
Both Samsung and LG can do camera IQ and UX well (S6, S7, G5) so why cannot Sony who license their own sensors to those very companies?

And Antutu includes the graphics card but doesn't have a big impact on the score so it also isn't all about gaming. Today's smartphone benchmarks are mostly about loading times, UI and such things
