Doesn't change the fact that it is still an overpriced piece of crap with 2014 specs.

"Consumer Reports used a script that was deleting cache and this was not a typical consumer behavior. Apple asked CR to redo the test and apparently it went as expected", so the new "test" only reloaded the pages over and over again from the browser cache, that is cheating?!

No other company would get this second chance after the first review.

Still, I wouldn't buy it, not because it is to expensive and I am too poor to buy one as probably most Apple fanboys would claim (the term being fanboys not fans), but because there's nothing "attractive" about this device, and there may be hundreds of laptops out there that are miles better than it, from my perspective at least.

I believe that the author just wanted to say that Consumer Reports got paid. Fake ratings doesn't make Apple's production any better.

You need to apply a patch to make the test run well..... Hmmm...

Okay, and by extension I will never ever touch Consumer Reports with a ten foot pole.

What a hill to die on, letting Apple bully your free thinkers into a fake product recommendation. A sub-par excuse of a generational product by a company who claims to have their best interest at heart for the consumer and follow the latest destructive trend of "diversity push". You aren't a plain-Jane androgynous hipster tech blog, but you fell for this trap so I now question your staffs integrity.
