KMB877, 20 Jan 2017Just copy and paste from before: Really? Beside President... morePlease educate yourself.. Foxconn recently bought a phone manufacturing factory from Microsoft.. That factory was acquired by Microsoft from NOKIA.. So it is originally Nokia's factory.. This phone is built in an exNOKIA factory using exNOKIA tools and machinery by exNOKIA engineers and employees.. This is as NOKIA as a phone can get.. You troll can just use oneplus or xiaomi or iuni or whatever and let us fans enjoy the return of NOKIA..

BTW checkout Nokia 6's camera samples on youtube.. It blows Oneplus 3T and Xiaomi Mi5 away in comparison..

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2017Do you even read about Nokia before you comment? HMD GLOBAL... moreHMD GLOBAL it is run by former Nokia executives?! This is funny... Shall I remind you how graceful "former Nokia executives (including Elop)" promoted first WM and when finally disaster happens, they sold the business to Microsoft for a fraction of the value...
Beside CEO, CFO, president and a dozen of lawyers, do you know any former Nokia's Engineer hired @ HMD? Of couse, not. HMD will fill just a few pockets with royalties paid by Foxconn for using this brand name.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2017Really? Read whatever you just wrote. Who is the main share... more1 More thing. Shareholders are grouped in General Assembly. They have crucial word in company's financial activities but do not take part in other activities (for example they can grant funds for a new phone project but can't take part in its development, they can only influence it by giving or not giving permission, or even by firing unwanted persons- but then regulations step in). So even if it is true Foxconn has major share in HMD (unlikely) it can't just dictate HMD how to make phones. I'am sorry for my way too emotional words- even you was a Nokia fan and I believe you still love them. Please believe them and give Nokia (HMD) a chance again.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2017Really? Read whatever you just wrote. Who is the main share... more1) Lie, lie and lie. Now I really want to shout out some explicit words. HMD form an alliance with FIH International which is a Foxconn subordinary. HMD developes technology, FIH makes phones. HMD itself is a Public Limited Company, backed by a private equity fund, SmartConnect LP, managed by HMD managment and Jean-Francois Baril, a former Nokia executive. There is absolutely no information about shares of Nokia, Microsoft or Foxconn in HMD. It's on Wikipedia. Got other source? Then share it!

                                    2) The whole HMD leadership is consisted of former Nokia, Microsoft and HTC workers. You can find it on their page. Got other source again? Show us!

                                    3) And again, Foxconn assembles phones for Apple, Sony, Xiaomi , OnePlus...It's that the only source you got?

You are trying to be smart, but in fact you got nothing to back your infos. Pathetic.
