Usually the networks make massive delays to OTA releases. In the UK EE are the absolute worst for this. Samsung also have to adjust Touchwiz, drivers, etc to be compatible with a new OS. It isn't as simple as "Here's a new Android! Everyone install!" They're not magic, they're technology that can only be advanced at the speed the people advancing them are capable of. New OS > OEM Firmware > Network Firmware
Check https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ first to check it isn't your network before you go slating Samsung. Also, wise up before moaning.

Noughat is a minor update for samsung,atleast end user is concerned
Samsung has almost all the features of android 7.0 way before it was cool
Multitasking-since S3(even better apps can be opened as floating windows)
Vulkan support-since s6
Daydream VR-since s6(Gear VR)
and so on(only thing that we will benefit from is new notification shade)

My Galaxy S5 and S6 is on december security update.Samsung might be painfully slow at rolling out Software updates but they deliver monthly security update every month before the end of second week that same month

Either you are lying or you bought a fake Galaxy S7.

Still there no news about Note 4 as it had all the eligible specs.............. We expect the samsung should give update to note 4 too.

Hell, my S7 is still on the November security update. Great work there, Samsung. You fanboys really ought to stop making excuses. There are none for Samsung's extremely poor after sales care. The delay is probably down to them still sitting in their board rooms, discussing what additional bloat that can't be uninstalled or deactivated could be bundled. Absolutely awful.

Sony is the best in updates almost all its chosen devices to receive android 7 already updated
