I would never buy a Samsung again.Cutting edge features only for 5-6 months and then it starts lagging.Even my S7 Edge lags sometimes.I would rather wait for Huawei P10

"If you're excited for the Samsung Galaxy S8, today is a good day for you."
Apparently not. This was the single news piece to completely kill my enthusiasm for S8. Just 10% extra performance (used to be 30-40% every other years), low battery for the screen size, same amount of ram, Same camera.
I appreciate the change in body/screen dimensions, but it should have been coupled ewith specs enough to handle the added load. More RAM, more processing power, more battery. Unfortunately we're gettingn (almost) none of it.
I just ordered oneplus 3T as it seems the better phone (worse camera, but in everything else is bether, battery, ram and cpu is very similar; lastly software too, much snappier than touchwiz)

Ram is the most important spec for every day performance. If they keep it at 4GB , expect a public shaming from (much) cheaper Chinese phones like last year:

I hope the rumours are wrong because if not we'd have the first flagship with mid range performance in our hands. That's never happened before, I repeat this is a first and not a good one.
If Samsung raises prices this year 'round they should seriously equipping their flagship phones with best of the crop specs. None of this watered down BS, old Samsung with best specs in the world, should make a return.

by time samsung makes more and more curvier glass. curved makes the phone really fragile. it easily cracked upon hitting something. (i cracked my note 5 back).
why not metal back? everybody is moving to glass. i don't understand why. metal is far sturdier and fingerprint free. huawei p9 is a good example. metal back, and small curve on front.

Whew, it's a fake leak guys. This is a shopped S7 edge, with Huaweii's ugly speaker grille, Micro USB, a logo that says "Samsuns" and an outrageously located fingerprint sensor that is photoshopped with wrong shadow. Close call, guys, but the S8 will fortunately be something we actually have not seen yet.

wtf... why put the finger print sensor as a square next to the other modules like that?!?!?!?! So goddamn ugly. Make it a circle and put it underneath ffs. The designer needs to be shot.
