the motorola Z's modular back could have been successful if only the device was cheaper this new device from alcatel could be a big hit if they will make it affordable but the negative thing is the mediatek chipset should have made it snapdragon.

Just the modular thingy has already sound how desperate Alcatel wanna make a come back than Nokia.
I personally feels that with the modular thingy concept, it may help to save the earth by cutting down of less phone being made. And if possible, the modular parts can be trade in or resell to those who need to replace it faulty parts.
Cheers Alcatel!

I like Motorola's idea and approach. Heck the only thing that's stopping me from getting a Moto Z is a good camera attachment, with good sensor. That Hasselblad half baked attempt is worse than the Moto Z's primary camera. Not taking the zoom into account, which is the only thing going for it.

Till now, only Moto Z was able to make more practical, modular phones. No restart, no extra effort to attach module, just snap it.
LG modular design is scrap and limited to replace battery and to attach any other modules, you end up shutting down your phone and start it up. Not practical solution.
Hope to see someone putting some efforts to carry forward the Moto Z modular design to next level.
