Seems legit. Possible power button still on the right side. Exact position of volume keys and extra key revealed. Back mounted fingerprint scanner position confirmed. Now waiting for hardware specs confirmation...

AnonD-638955, 28 Jan 2017so, samsung has decided to move the fingerprint scanner to ... moreNot trying to defend the render or anything, but if I put my finger at the back of my 5.1 inch Galaxy S6 edge, which will be about the same size of the 5.8 inch Galaxy S8, I found that my finger rest perfectly at the right side of the camera. So, to me, it is in the perfect position.
I always have no problem trying to reach the heart rate sensor at the back of my S6 edge, which is located at the right of the camera.

I love the Samsung Edge design. It is out of this world!
The downside is that accidental presses register at both sides and the UI when you swipe from the edges is redundant. It shows icons similar to the homescreen.
The Edge has a big potential but Samsung lacks innovation to take advantage of the curve design.
I may sometimes think that the edge design is just a gimmick because it lacks functionality.
Anyways, it is good looking. And I hope that the Note 7 fiasco will not happen again.

The live unit had a 99% screen-to-body ratio (ok, it's abused but you get what I mean) while this render has slim bezels on top and down. Since the first one came from evleaks, I would bet on the first one (while I still hope for another design, with the usual capacitive buttons with the home/fingerprint button at their respective place.

4 buttons? Are we going to assist to the rebirth of the Camera button? Or that's just a lame attempt to gain attention? I hope the 2nd option is the good answer. This design is awful. Okay, do it for the S8, but not on the Note 8. This design is a deal breaker. What's wrong with the actual design? Can't you just slim bezels a bit more and keep the hardware and capacitive buttons?

How is this render different from the Front-Glass earlier leaks? the extra holes on the top of the front-glass could be for hidden notification LED in the render leak, other than that the two leaks look consistent
Whether the new design is better or not it is definitely a step forward, every single prediction about the future phones and future iphones predict a screen covering the whole front of the phone. If the only issue is the back mounted fingerprint scanner, next generation might include a fingerprint scanner through the display (apple has a patent for it already).

I like the rounded edge display. I hope it is it.. for the finger print, it is also nice to see differ from others like xperia on side. . Go for it samsung. Below camera finger print is a true copy.. put samsung logo onscreen on side sliding effect customizable color..

No!!!!!!!!!!!! It's clearly photoshopped. It's an "shopped" S7 edge. There are four keys. Three keys on the left and one on the right. While "shopping" they forgot to remove the power button on the right side. The back clearly shows it's an "shop." The glass panels were true but Thursday's leak and today's leak is fake. On Thursday, @evleaks played Republic Day of India "fool" at us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible! I think Samsung is now finding Chinese design inspirational? So the money that I had kept aside for s8 will buy pixel I guess. No Front FP sensor, no flat display and no 5.1" model is a big NO!!

So essentially the 6.2 inch version might be closer to 5.9 if you're not including the edges, which I don't, as they are completely useless to me as they don't add to the actual visual real estate (if judging by previously released edge display screens from Samsung). The 6.2 version is around the same size as my Note 4 in dimensions so it's still pretty impressive, but hey, why the consensus prefers curved eye screens
