So were getting copy and paste. What seems to have completely passed Microsoft by is the complete lack of integration for Outlook. So fine I can use Live, but its as intuitive as knitted fog and only half as useful. Anyone with any sense is going to go to I phone as WP7 in its current form can't compete. There are those who will say wait for wp8 completely missing those locked in for the next 2 years

I bet all of you dissing os7 will shut up once u use it do not let reviews deceive you yall first dissed it for not havin copy nd paste nd multitasking (whichdiphonedidntavtillrecentiphone4) also andriod's has a very ugly multitaskin interface now they put copy nd paste as well as multitasking and you pple re complaining that the technology is old this is pure hating on the wp7 phone I wil def get one when it comes out with the nokia I saw the pic nd I fell in love immediately so I will advise to stop d hating the new os7 is d sleekest os ever

COURAGEOUS PLANNow, the crazy part is of course Microsoft and its reputation recently, especially in adventures in mobile. I mentioned in my blog posting on Friday, that Nokia may regret this, ifhistory is any guide, look at Microsoft relationships with handset maker partners, Sendo, HTCand Motorola. There is far more to recently Microsoft 'partnerships' that tend to end up very badly for the 'company other than Microsoft' and Microsoft is quite happy to abandon its 'strategic' partners at the drop of the hat, and send in the army of attorneys to mop up the damage. They are far far more profitable than Nokia (I believe, Microsoft has been far more profitable than Nokia 'ever' was) and they can afford their army of lawyers.

That all Nokia abandoned for not the second biggest OS platform (Google Android). Not the third biggest (Apple iOS). Not the fourth biggest (RIM Blackberry), Not the fifth biggest (Samsung bada), not even the sixth biggest selling smartphone OS platfform (Microsoft's Windows Mobile which is being terminated) but Nokia abandoned the world's most popular smarthone OS platform and its migration path, for the seventh-best-selling smartphone OS platform (Microsoft's new Phone 7) which had 1.5% market share in the fourth quarter of 2010 - vs 31% for Nokia's Symbian platform (including Japanese manufacturers also using Symbian), and 28% for Nokia itself. Nokia abandoned its giant platform and picked one of the smallest in the world.

Consider here are a few of Microsoft's partnerships in telecoms in the past decade and how Horace summrizes them. In 2000 Ericsson (" culminated in losses and Ericsson going to Android "). 2001 Sendo (" after litigating with Microsoft went bankrupt "). Motorola 2003 (" launched series of phones using Microsoft, hit the rocks in profitability, and now relies exclusively on Android "). Palm in 2005 (" shipped a few MS phones, and an acquition later is now part of HP, making its own OS "), Nortel 2006 (" Nortel declared bankruptcy two years later "). LG 2009 (" made a few Microsoft devices, but abandoned the platform, moved to Android losing all their profits "). There are no sunny stories of Microsoft alliances in mobile. LoL!!

Lets get back to CUT & PASTE.
The fact that it was not in the original version of WP7 is negligence, bordering on incompetence by Microsoft.
It is a basic feature of every decent OS. Apple made a fuss when they introduced it on the IPhone.
Android has had it for years, although it is not as good or user friendly as ios.
I'm glad Microsoft have corrected the oversight.
I expect Nokia/WP7 phones to be a success.
And I will be buying one!

If money was that easy to earn these days then buying a wp7 is totally a great idea! Supporting something new and young. But in reality its hard to earn cash and make money! And the wp7 isn't up for the challenge yet. it doesn't have any royal blood like the IOS or any geeky move to it like the android.

To me it look's like an android skin, nothing more, everybody is so excited, but there's nothin new...!!!! wtf..?? i would be excited to, if Meego would be totally diferent, but it's not, so take a cold shower and do yourself a favor..get an gingerbread.. ;)this is what i belive, no ofence..

i'm impressed. Of course not with copy/paste but what nokia brings about change in WP7. It only 2 or 3 days that Nokia and Microsoft announce their merger/collaboration and we've already seen updates/improvements in WP7. Maybe after a year or so WP7 NOKIA will be the OS/phone to beat.

This is a b***shit, i mean, not everybody has knowldge of what wm7 can or can't do, so they need to know that is b***shit..no copy/paste, no multitasking, i mean, come'on....and is very, very ugly, the wm 6.5 is better than this..adn it has only 1 year..?? how about android..?? they rise in 1 year and was the king the second..no wp7 do that..?? i don't think so, and everybody knows that..until they will have a stabile OS, android will be far far away and they are not going to catch it.. I loved Nokia, but now i can't wait to get an android..peace
