Copy paste in a windows mobile is great, they are patching up the limitations they had past.. But I have a question, the multitasking is said to be to the third party applications only, thats a shame when you take a symbian os which can minimize almost every application in it... Hope they have some more good time to spend on this new fancy(in a good way) OS... Otherwise my next mobile will be something running Meego rather than windows... but whatever it surely should be a Nokia.. :)

i realy pity windows because most devices released in MWC are running on android this is attributed to their h/ware resrictions, beside the uglyness.they were in the right track with 6.xxx .so reap your arrogance

the thing is nokia screwed up so bad while bad mouthing andriod n now as andriod is putting symbiam to its grave, nokia has no option but to go for the second best....so quit blaming microsoft as its nokia who threw away its andriod ticket..

also wm6.x was a treat. htc had kinetic scroll since 2007. nokia just got it last year. give wp7 1 more year. it has the potential.

but ill only go back to wp7 if MS releases proper SDK for it.

really makes me want to rush out and drop 5 bills on a new WP7 phone this week. what a joke. windows mobile operating system has always been a joke. They looks good on paper, with lot's of features, but have always have been user unfriendly.

The nokia CEO needs to be immediatly removed from his job and moved to a soft padded room somewhere with lot's of attendants in white. The sooner the better.

It seems that Windows Phone 7 technolog is still needs more work to progress. I hope they do more improvements besides to the copy-paste functions.

why is everyone alway b*tching about WP7, If you don't like it .. don't buy it and for all of you that are excited about this update, I believe this is a great update and I can't wait to multi-task which I think is more of a big deal then copy and paste.

Waxx, 15 Feb 2011in comparison to android and iphone os' it took a lot longe... moreI agree with you it is not black and white. I guess what strikes me about the Microsoft situation is how for almost the first time in Microsoft's history the latest version of a product has stripped away a vast list of features from the previous version (i.e. from WM6.5 to WM7). Compare that to the transition from Vista to Windows 7. Windows 7 was a major new product but I am hard pressed to think of a single feature from Vista that it did not bring along. The comparison with the desktop is not entirely fair I know. Here is an interesting parallel. The Nokia N86 8MP was for a long time Nokia's leading camera phone. It was Nokia's only 8MP phone for about a year and a half (from memory) at a time when Sony Ericsson had five 8MP cameras. With a big build up Nokia introduced the N8. It took the same flag ship camera phone position and was in many respects a quantum leap (new touch interface, new form factor, new connectivity options i.e. HDMI, OTG). But, DLNA went out the window and the FM transmitter is not as good. Anyone who used DLNA on previous N series devices (and sure it was not a major market segment but there were a few of us) were really disappointed that the N8 just dropped that feature. I hope feature trimming is not going to be the hallmark of the new Microsoft / Nokia alliance.

lmao.. i used to think windows phones were alright, but now that i hear theyre JUST now getting copy and paste.. all i can think is how theyve fallen so far behind google over the years.. they lost the internet brower, email, outlook, search engine, and the list goes on.. all microsoft has left is windows and office.. and google introduced google docs, so expect to cross office off that list by next year..
