The multitasking implementation on Android allows any program to run in the background, for as long as it wants. An application can run as a service, completely in the background. An application can run at startup, on a schedule, based on events, or continue running after started by the user. While running in the background, an Android app can do anything it has been given permission to do.
iOS does not allow true multitasking for third party apps. iOS only allows certain APIs to run in the background, such as audio streaming and push notifications. An app stops running the instant the user switches to another app. Apple gives their own apps multitasking abilities that other apps are not allowed to use.
The negative for iOS is reduced functionality and the positive is superior smoothness of the system because there aren't any background app interfering with the app that is open and better energy management (anyway Android got Greenify for that). You'll never see something on iOS like an Android app that runs in the background monitoring various contexts, and reacting to them, such as "mute my phone when I place it on a table face down", "remind me to take medication when I get home" or apps like Moto Assist.

this is what i hate about iPhone. they actually can put all-out technologies. But they put it one by one. good cam (ip 4), 16:9 ratio (ip 5), bigger body (ip 6), selfie cam (ip 6s), waterproof (ip 7), then battery and wireless charge (ip 8).
They have loyal customers, that's an advantage and guarantee that customers always willing to upgrade because there is always new features, although those features already in android many years ago.
Look at samsung. Owners of s6 will not always think to upgrade to s7, because s6 features are already all-out. s7 is just faster (and waterproof)

Samsung is giving f1.9lowlight photography in c9pro and it is nearly 60000but. 7plus iPhone is having f1.2low light photography and it is 82000. y? s7edge and c9pro is having more features iPhone must introduce much more features and also decrease fingerprint sensor detecting time 1+3tphone is having 0.1sec but 7plus is 0.3. 1+3t is nearly 40000but 7plus is 82000

IPhone simply controls it efficiently. Unlike android, which allow all kinds of running junks.. where you keep eyeballing daily on why yout battery drain like nuts.

It's not so mind blowing if you ask me. The fact that even the bigger iPhone 7 Plus only have 2900 mAh while the smaller Galaxy S7 edge have 3600 mAh battery just tells us that Apple just didn't wanted to increase the battery capacity all these years.

They don't care about MaH, they merely don't run background apps and it is how they sustain the good battery. A bit of how your car would have a better mileage if you remove all its seats and pretty much anything with weight in it (except the engine, main chasis and the rims/wheels). Of course your car would suck after that, but who cares as long as people keep praising it?

It's like cutting the legs and the hands of a person and then finding it amazing how few calories he needs to sustain himself (of course , you cut away 1/3rd of his body weight, it's obvious that his caloric needs went way down).
