Apple's OLED iPhone to fit a 2,700 mAh battery while being around the same size as the iPhone 7

13 February 2017
The device is expected to have a 5.2" to 5.8" touchscreen, so those accomplishments would be exceptional.

See how to go about it Samsung?
Even with using the same size you up the battery so that to accommodate the extra screen estate. Not like you did it (Samsung) , going from 5.1 to 5.8, yet keeping the same 3000 battery ... how pitiful. Expect a million unhappy customers with your DOWNGRADE

AnonD-237381, 13 Feb 2017There are already tons of Android phones with better batter... moreI guess you haven't really used a plus version of an iphone.

It's Amazing the iPhone has such good battery life considering how little the battery is.

Wtf is exceptional about that? The cheap Moto G4 packs 3000mAh under a 5.5" screen and you can buy at least 3 of those for the price of an iPhone.

4000 is what they should aim for. 2900 will not last very long

How exceptional an achievement it is depends on what you assume for the aspect ratio and whether it has curved edges. A long (most of the front panel) aspect ratio and curves edges could perfectly well fit that diagonal into an iPhone 7 sized device.

Remember that an 18:9 5.7" screen is the same width as a 5.2" 16:9 even without curved sides.
