that's funny to read such these opinion, there's nothing to compete ur argue or wht else, each has its own fan, market, bcoz human not just use the 'winner','the best','the most', or bla bla bla, as far as a gadget meet their need, they feel ('eye, money, fit') comfort, they'll buy it. As fact, often the best gadget, not also the best sales. Even standard phone, but fullfill enough customer needs, yield booming sales. It also lead in motorcycle, electronic, etc. Be wise w ur mind. I'm keeping touch from here, peace :-)

[deleted post]not one company makes a perfect phone or device they all have problems of some sort. even the nexus s had problems before the 2.3.2 update. so problems are to be expected since no company wants to test every product for a year just to work out every single kink.

but on a different note nokia has the capability to make quality phones just took at the e90 and the n900. with this new partnership, carriers are more likely to want these devices in their stores.

and to the ones that think nokia betrayed intel you are sadly mistaken. first of all meego is not even in a finalized state for production and second nokia DID NOT dump meego, and they ARE NOT stopping development on the platform. if you were looking for information about this; STOP JUST READING THE HEADLINE and read the whole article.

im saying that because i know endgadget or some website has and article that reads: "Nokia dumps meego OS" which is completely false

with the current trend of "tablets", I think pretty soon even the Windows OS may become history, or at least not as dominant as it used to be.

[deleted post]For the record, it was Anssi Vanjoki (former VP of Nokia) who first made that statement back in 2005. It's Nokia who's eating their own words.

Nokia didn't go android because Google DID NOT allow Nok to use Ovi services like Maps etc.

That's why pissed-off google tweeted the TWO TURKEYS statement.

It was also rumored that nokia talked to RIM but were rejected.

I think this deal with microsoft is the beginning of the end for nokia. I used to be a loyal nokia fan until last friday when everything went to hell. I have always supported nokia until that day, and I'm aware this is all Stephen Elop plan, Nokia and the other employees do not have to do with this. I'll be with Nokia until they stop developing Symbian, then I'll change to iPhone. I don't see myself using a clonic ugly unstable and disgusting Android!!!, Android represents lose for identity

[deleted post]I for one am gonna switch to Android, presumably a Sony Ericsson. I didn't care about WP7 at all until I heard about Nokia's betrayal on Intel and MeeGo. For all I know, WP7 is pretty much a piece of junk right now. I'm in love with Nokia's hardware (all my phones this far have been Nokias), but I really don't trust Microsoft's software. And software ended being Nokia's Achille's heel. As much as I love Nokia's phones, I just don't like Microsoft's OS and, unwillingly, I'll have to switch to Android.

I certainly hope Nokia change that ugly WP7 main screen, "tiles" how boring! Its worse than the boring same-old icons all over the iPhone screen.

Symbian and Android have fully customisable main screens with automated widgets. Who wants to go back to the little old digital clock in the top corner of the screen, when you can choose to have a large analogue or digital clock in a widget wherever you want on your main home screen.

Seriously, line up the Nokia N8, HTC, iphone and a Windows Phone 7 and tell me Symbian doesn't look and feel much better?

I used to consider myself the biggest NOKIA fan. My first was the 2110 back in the day then I had all the communicators. Nokia used to be absolutely amazing until a FIDO rep called me and convinced me to sign a contract and they will ship me an iphone 3GS for free and if I dont like it I can send it back in 15 days. Since then my E90 just sitting there. I realized the fact that I was foolishly spending my money because the name NOKIA. I am now considering all OS and all devices and make my decision that fits my needs. I am not in the NOKIA bubble anymore and I am very happy about it.
