trahbah, 17 Feb 2011Truth. It's like Nintendo's WII. Quick popularity and quick... moreYou're exactly right. It is like Nintendos Wii, Leader in innovation, every other competitor wants to and does copy from it and has the most replayability and widest variety of great games. You're absolutely correct. Any denial of that is just blind fanboyism of HD only.

Alright! Now the best thing to do now Nokia is to remove all the code, OS and UI that says Microsoft and replace it with a brand new updated Meego OS. That'd be a real winner. Everybody wsnts Meego, nobody wants WP7.

      Not trying to troll...
Nokia should have put Android OS in their newer phones to buy time for their MeeGo products.

Furthermore, Elop is a smart and greedy businessman, all he think about is money for his own pocket (because he has big shares on Microsoft). It is a mistake that Nokia hired him.

Nokia, you made great phones in the past and I have enjoyed S60v3 but I hated S60v5. Yet, you are still stubborn and rejected Android.

Said Nokia special treatment is Surface Changes...

And why not since "Deep-running" customizations ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL , not choosing right now to get a Omnia7 ? Why should i wait for Nokias phone.

Because it writes Nokia on it ? Don't get that...

this might cause a stir among other wp7 makers it would be funny if the other 5 (samsung, lg, htc, asus and dell) unite against microsoft and complain about this nokia "advantage"? :P

                              Lamo you serious?
God alone knows how many times i've dropped my Samsung Jet and it still works perfectly fine... ( the phone's case's pretty slippery which is the only thing i don't like about it :|)

                              And the
SE - Zylo Still in perfect condition
                              and the
SE - K710i Still good, few scratches (dropped a several times of times )
The Nokia phones i've had or what my friends had didn't really needed to be dropped to see em break... here's a list

7610 - chipped case (dropped a few times)
6110 - broken sim card holder, case clip and speaker pads (never dropped)
5310 - the entire case just cracked. (dropped once)
5610 - broken slide key (it just broke off without any warning ) Broke befor my sis dropped it
N70 - Broken cam cover ( Never Dropped)
                              N72 - broken D pad (never dropped)
X6 - One drop and the metal beading got bent.

                              Yup, excellent Build quality...

[deleted post]I agree. After Android is caught by new next generation Windows phones what then for HTC and everyone else using Droid? You cannot expect the advantage to last forever. HTC is a fad whose days are numbered.

peharps the're under somethin, WP7 is actually the fastest OS I've seen(if ye think Desire HD is fast, just sample the HD7 AND if ye think the Galaxy S is fastest, spend 10 minutes with the Omnia7). But still, seeing the Windows sign on a mobile phone makes me wana_______(insert word)

If I were to license a manufacturer with a 36% world-market share, I would also have allowed them to customize my OS in any way that they consider fit for their needs!

Nokia has been creative enough to produce phones on symbian that many people still buy. I think this is what Microsoft hopes Nokia will be able to do for them. Good luck guys! :)
