" Jimmy, FYI SonyEricsson P990, M600, K800 have biggest return rate nowadays. For buggy FW mostly. Among Nokias this award goes to N80 and 6280, but not really: their symbian phones are stable now, a lot more stable than SE ones.
So you're talking crap now. "

ok so im talking crap. I dont sell phones 40 hours per week. For my information SonyEricsson P990, M600, K800 have biggest return rate nowadays you say???? well thats news to me all i see is Nokias and motorolas getting returned. Maybe i happen to turn my head everytime a SE comes in for repair? hold on ill ask our repair bin out the back. It speaks more truth then your "FYI" quote.

"Features? Oh come on!!! SE has ONLY ONE wi-fi enabled phone P990i compared to nokia's 20 phones :)"

wow WIFI. Here in australia we have a 3g 850 network twice the speed of any hotspot. but surprise surprise nokia havent got a phone out on it yet. The network was launched 5 months ago and nokia wont have anything out for another 7 months. LOLOLOL. that means non nokia users will have blistering fast downloading and internet access anywhere they get coverage. nokia users can have semi fast net access at macdonalds. who wins?

Nokia is for simple people, have you tried every phone from every other make...prob not. No Nokia phone beats the Samsung D600...and i can tell that because i work in a phone shop and have tried every phone

Other than trolling ebay, does someone know of an online retail business that would have the 6300 as soon as it's available?

i am formally a nokia user but due to the durablity of the phone i have change to a SE phone.

Sony ericsson is the best in the market, thats wht i think.

SE confirm will launch more models out de.

Its a sad thing for the Nokia users as they don't know what they are missing. If U ask any SE user who has used a Nokia in the past, U would find out.... Thats why the Nokia users keep trashing the SE name. Two words for U'll. Keep trying

Having a nokia phone, no matter how old, no matter the brand, is like having a NIKE pair of shoes. It's always the best, can't go wrong

i'd rather have 3.2 or 2 MP camera of SE than that 5MP of N95!
and how do you know that that SE comes back more often than Nokia's that Jimmy counted?

Design? It's your personal opinion, market things otherwise: nokias sold in HUGE quantities compared to SE childish designed phones.
Features? Oh come on!!! SE has ONLY ONE wi-fi enabled phone P990i compared to nokia's 20 phones :)
Same with cameras (5MP N95), GPS, screen quality, materials etc etc.
In sum you don't know what you re talking about.

in this arguement i would like to state my case. I have sold phones for yonks. In that time learned most of what there is to know about what you guys are blindly arguing. The arguement that nokia's are the most reliable on the market is alot of crap. the 6111, 6255, n70, n80 are comming back more often then any brand. out of the first 10 n80's we sold. 6 came back. they have their good models tho. The 6230i, 6233 models are very stable, very good phones. But compared to modernised companys like samsung and SE they are falling behind. Simple as that. nokias design is killing them and they arent making any advances in other areas. SE's are killing them in features and the N series on the whole is rubbish. The new menu format is more un-user friendly then any other brand and are painfully slow to scroll through. they have the features but the package on the whole doesn't compare. They need to look to the future not the past

i disagree to satya a bit,..

alpha is new to sony's trademark,.. it's a DIGI-SLR series cameras with a technological assistance from Konica minolta's cameras... and it isn't yet a leader in DSLRs.. canon and nikon are the leaders in DSLRs... but Alpha is a heavy contender for it's performance and features...

one phone has UMA etc but no 3G , other has something in and something out. some has 16m screen but some features absent. SONY phones are now supporting 4GB external memory. it would be wiser to see how much memory they support. Let’s compare:-

-> 2626 is a dual band phone, CSTN display, No BLUETOOTH, No Infrared, No Card slot, 2MB Memory, GPRS Class 6 ( currently all SONY phone has class 10 GPRS.

-> 6300 supports only microSD, 7MB internal memory, Talk Time 3 hours, it's worth noting that Nokia's best phone which has 2 MP camera has failed to be at par with Sony's Camera. Don’t believe ? Read GSM Arena's K750i Homepage. We shouldn't forget that SONY is a worldwide leader in cameras like CYBERSHOT and Alpha.

-> 6086 CSTN display , Wi-Fi but no infrared and 3G, USB version 1.1 which is old, 5 hours talk time

-> 6290 Costly but no Wi-Fi which 6086 has. Again it’s not a complete phone.

So! I think they are made for the fools who do not pay attention and runs after the name of Nokia.

You guys are whinging waaaaaaaaay to much "ooh it so ugly" etc. Seriously its a phone, you use it for texting, calling, videocalling etc, who the hell cares?

Thats all I have to say.

This the best U can come up with. No wonder why U feel Nokia is better than SE. Remember one thing if it weren't for competition, and feature rich products from SE and similar companies, then Nokia would be taking people like U for a ride. One of the first phones to come put with a camera, was the T68i, and my friend if U go look it up, its a SE.

SE started giving a hard time to Nokia from the T68i onwards. It was only after that did Nokia think of integrating the cam in the phone.

Nokia, has to to get Carl Zeiss to take on SE. Could U suggest Y?

YcaA>>> So, some phones are targeted to bussines people, some phones are just basic. But why do most think they are ugly and why does the phone has to be ugly if it is cheap? I still think there is something wrong with Nokia designers, some other companies make cheap and really good looking phones...
