[deleted post]Neither funny neither sarcastic. As the man said, you're the fool here.

On the topic itself... Bold move to re-release the device that almost destroyed companys reputation. But, if they price it right, which we all doubt a lot, fans at least would be really happy to get their hands on on one of the best phablets ever made. Which is a good thing.
Oh yeah.. also samsung would cover some losses with this move, which is the clear reason why they're doing this. If they will pull this off, kudos to them.

Unless it is very cheap compared to other comparable phones, it will be far too late considering it will very likely be updated to a better successor within 2 to 3 months of release. Also, by then the S8 and S8 Plus will have been out for a while. So all in all I can't see that many people going for it. And of course there will always be a stigma around this phone rightly or wrongly.

JMTM, 21 Feb 2017seriously... some of you guys really want to buy this outda... moreReleased in June means that its software should be similar to S8 at least; running on Nougat out of the box. Less battery doesnt mean it will be 1000mah or 2000mah less. Probably just a few mah to reduce the tight space in their previous problematic note7. Its a 'refurbished' device. Naturally, all refurbished device must be 40-60% less than their original price. Refer to the refurbish flagship program in the US to see how they had done it last year. Stop overeacting!

seriously... some of you guys really want to buy this outdated crap - refurbished - packed with a smaller battery at flagship price?
knowing samsung, they will price this more than $500 US while SD835 is about to release next month
Not to mention, unless they can move more than 1 million units at least there will be no OS update trust me

I would love to buy if this launches in India! Can't wait!!
Folks posting negative comments are simply weird! why are they even here if they don't like it?

They should give fire extinguishers with the device.

If it's around 300 eur, then it's fine.

Call me foolish, mad or person with suicidal tendency but, I'm desperately waiting for return of note 7 to happen. It is still one of the best smartphones ever released and I really want one..

Besides, the final price(and probability of fire of course) will determine its success in markets like these. Hopefully, "other key parts are also likely to be replaced" doesn't include SOC and cam module...
