Nokia created a lot of innovative ideas with their high end phones a few years back before the iphone came out in the market and even now with their partnertship with Microsoft their new cellphones will become even better on both hardware and software aspects.

I must say that most of the people have childish sinrome on 2-3 year old child, well you can always buy something that is shiny or glossy but at the end you need something that is functional.
Personaly I was a proud owner of X10 sony and I was thincking that is time for migration to new platform that will be future prof in any way, unfortunatly it was not the case I found routhless reality that most of the android device are unreliable and unusablle I also check with Iphone. It is inmatture product that have his own clientele I mentioned on the begining. For example on most android you are not abble to filter log list, you can not send bussines card over sms if you dont have ver.2.2 or higher, basic functionality on all devices like Ando or Ios are questionable. Yes you will have market for application, but I found that almost 70% is garbage.
At the end I take C7 from Nokia (can you imagine that I have functionality out of the box withou installing some crap from Net).
Also in my previouse post I ask people Why Google insist on colecting information about all living form :). I'm not paranoid but I dont need gmail account FTW. Personal prefercess are individual thing and I don't want to judge anybody, but I'm sure that I will not try any android before ver.11.xx :)
And people relax it is only phone nothing else..

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2011If you give credit to the almighty brand for mobile phones,... moreMotorola was a leader already, who said it wasn't?
The "almighty brand" (such a pathetic term) brought things like internal antennas, color displays, bluetooth, phones with true web browser, they started to make smartphones popular with Symbian and brought multi-tasking to the mobile market, they did the first all-in-one smartphone with the N95 and certanly alot of more. You think that's not enough? If it weren't by Nokia, we would be at least 10 years late on the mobile era, and you wouldn't even be here to bash Nokia.

WTF? You shold tell that to business guys, maybe they will listen to you and will stop buying Nokia phones!
It's so funny that you guys are starting to point stupid little thing to try to prove that Nokia is not a good brand, you can make it all day just like you can point stupid thing from alot of other brands. So, it's my turn:
Look at the iPhone 4, it doesn't have true multi-tasking, no mass storage, no widgets, no bluetooth file tranfer, look at Galaxy S, no dedicated camera key, no USB On-the-go, no FM transmiter, no HD recording with stereo sound, no LED Flash. LOL
See? I'm just being stupid as you.

for who hate nokia & Symbian, we want phones not small computers.
most of the ppl buy smartphones for everything except real busniess tasks & phones, symbian is the best business tool you will get.

After spending a weekend with the N8, it does seem like a very capable smartphone, that can do everything that the iphone and androids can do, and more. The UI update is overdue, and I think Symbian could very well evolve into something else. The FM transmitter is a joy to use, and after a morning of moderate use, I've only used one bar. My iphone would be down to 50% normally.

I just want to say that all those people who are proudly defending Nokia have never used Android or iOS personally. They might have scrolled a bit on their friend's mobile but thats it.

I am an ex-symbian user who now uses Android. Trust me life is very tough for Nokia now and Symbian users are missing alot.

Good to see Nokia improving Symbian. The more Apple fanboys whine about Symbian, the more humorous it becomes to watch. Watch how the "outdated, stone-age" OS offers features Apple still hasn't "invented."
