the comments about the article are becoming unrelated and irrelevant due to stereotype and, possibly, racist remarks that are flowing on here.

I still don't get it why nokia and android are being compared. Nokia is a cell phone manufacturer, while android is an OS provider.

Again, Nokia probably won't use Android OS because MOTO, HTC, SAMSUNG, SE are now labeled by the media and public as android smartphones, instead of their name brand.

Again, NOkia paired with microsoft to produce nokia winmo7 smartphones to target the north american region. nokia will still use symbian OS to keep the current and existing loyal symbian users. Meego OS is also still apart of NOkia. So in the future, Nokia may have three operating systems...winmo7, meego, and symbian.

AnonD-1311, 27 Feb 2011Outside your country pre-2007. There are countries outside ... moreutilize the "smart" function was the last reason I know people bought the N76, and I knew a lot bought N73 just for the cam...only to find out the phone hanged so often even emergency calls couldn't be made.

why does it take a smartphone user to use unlimited plan on iphone? I know many users are quite smart to use wifi most of the time....so they certainly outsmart those N73/N76 users.

Wow. Every time there's an article where Nokia is mentioned at all, it immediately gets 200+ comments while other articles are lucky to get past double digits. So many haters saying "Nokia is dead"!

I'm the first to admit that Nokia should be doing better, and that their current lineup has me a bit nonplussed - but like any large company they can't change overnight, and with their huge resources they can afford to take their time.

To get back on topic: this is a good start, but what S^3 still needs is a new browser, reworked UI (the recent GSMA article shows they're working on this), new e-mail client and better cloud integration (Windows Live / Google Sync / whatever).
