Better come with at least a 6"-variant FINALLY. Just make two sizes like everybody else, the usual post-stamp -sized mini (5"-5.5") and a real phone with the bigger screen. :-)

Enough with the god damn edge screens, seriously. And if you're going with an edge screen, at least add the functionality to it, like on the Galaxy S6 edge/S7edge!

Yes, if it has bigger pixels with bigger pixel count then its win win, but that's not the case.

Excellent details without sacrificing the great benefit of huge megapixel. Even LG's 16mp cameras are better than Samsung's 12mp cameras

Edge screen makes phone beautiful.
Yes! But there are many ways to make phone look more beautiful than adding a curve to otherwise plain and non - characteristic price of glass.
AESTHETICS should not mess ERGONOMICS. and now please don't brag about "palm rejection". yes, it is better than others, but curved screen is just not ergonomic.

S6 Edge sold more than the normal flat S6,
S7 Edge sold more than the flat S7,
and this year both models are dual curved screens.
Anyways its all good for Samsung they most likely the ones getting paid for making these for Huawei, One Plus, and Apple.

I always believed oneplus will make correct decisions, but it seems otherwise.
1)edge displays : I think small bezels are enough to win consumer love. No trickery needed like nubia etc. just like G6 side bezels.
2)23MP camera : NO. Please put a better low light camera. If you still want to add some nice tech, add dual pixel autofocus.

Its kind of like how Apple removed the audio jack did samsung remove it with the S8?? Or LG with the G6?
The curved screen is good you dont lose any screen estate in fact you get more than a normal flat screen.

This is pity because 23 MP camera means smaller pixels, worse low-light quality. Megapixel race in general. There's a reason big players like Samsung, HTC, LG stick with 12-16 MP sensors because it's really enough pixels. We need quality, not more megapixels.

..., 28 Feb 2017Could still do with flat bezel less screen like in Nubia Z1... moreI'd say like on G6. it's not invisible like nubia, but it is tougher and safer. Nubia needs a thick 1.7mm protection glass for that effect which adds serious weight and needless thickness to phone.
