No need to go to 23MP. I think 12MP one is good for low light conditions. I'm not saying that more pixels are waste, but this Sony sensor is very bad in low light conditions. That's why. Otherwise, having more pixels is always good, but picture quality should be same, which isn't.

Honestly, the only benefit from curved edges that I could see is to give phones a bezel-less look. The side tabs can be done on flat screens. It feels like it was a mistake for Qualcomm to go to Samsung for their SoC manufacturing... They are alienating a lot of the other phone manufacturers. They should have gone to Samsung and TSMC for manufacturing. Both have the 10nm process anyways. And Samsung is putting more effort in making Exynox variant leaving whatever's left for Qualcomm's chip. One Plus 5 should just get a heliox30 or see if xiaomi can hook them up with their pine cones. Better than staying with the older SD821. Unless if Qualcomm is selling the SD821s way cheaper.

Camera was the only weak point in oneplus 3t. They should give better camera than other flagships as the Moto of this company is to one up the other flagships. Camera was deal breaker in oneplus 3t.

Edge screen isn't bad if done properly. For example the S7 edge was bad but Samsung improved it on the Note 7. Shame with the recall of course but Note 7 edge screen worked well since it wasn't curved too much. There wasn't any issue holding it then.

Curved screen are literally most impractical tech in smartphone.
Flat screens are best.
Just Improve the quality of display and nothing else in the department of display.

I wonder which OEM is next??
Xiaomi, Huawei and now even One Plus is followingg Samsungs lead maybe Oppo is next, its a matter of time before LG do curved screens even though at MWC they said they would never do them.

The only phone to have the 835 will be samsung. And for at least a month or two. Everyone else who plans on having the 835 will have to release their phones after the S8. But it's is up to the consumer whether to wait for the other phones or simply go for the S8

Large flat screen and also great for one handed use. I want 6 inch 2160x1080 resolution 402 ppi display for a midrange phone with dimensions (150x75x7.5)

Curved screens are crap.
They look good on Ads, but in real life they're weird to hold and very fragile.
Not to mention you get problems fitting screen protectors and cases!!!!
Still loving the flat Nexus 5X.
Keep the design, just shave the bezels : )
