Seems Sony has more leverage when it comes to qualcomm than LG.
I believe XZ Premium will remain best device even after S8 comes out, and will be about same price as S8+...
Hope a lot of people dont go for S8 as from fear of note7 like fiasco, and instead go more for G6 as a cheaper flag, and XZ Premium as a pricier flag phablet.

RaghavaZ, 03 Mar 2017Very honestly speaking, i don't find XZ or XZP as pretty or... moreMy Xperia Z2 is very nice and durable, I drop it many times, but it is still work like new and still waterproof. Maybe your friend is using Samsung Z2 and he trolling without show you what is the problems.
The tiny bezel can't protect the phone from drop damage, that's why my Z2 still survive and strong enough than any Samsung latest flagships.

Based on my observation:
When Samsung wins the Best Smartphone Award:
- many troll
- people brought up their hatred about the edge panel without looking at the whole package
- So many Samsung haters/bashers
BUT, When Sony wins the Best New Smartphone Awards
- People praise Sony
- The comment section is full of nice things about Sony
- less troll
I think I know where all the Samsung haters comes from. XD

Their designs are good but not striking. Everytime i look at a Sony, i always find those bezels distracting. I wouldn't have mind it if they had soft keys, which in turn free some space in that 5.2" screen.

I prefer the design of S6E/S7E over any other phone anytime anyday. In fact i bought S6E the very instant i saw it in store, completely impressed by its design. You can say those edges aren't useful, i can also say what those bezels in Sony are meant for? Sony can reduce it by half and still hold stereo speakers, which many Sony's fans are obsessed with. Quality and durability wise i consider both are same, at least from S6 in Samsung's case. My 2 year old S6E is looking and working as good as it was on very first day with no single visit to service center and my friend's Z2 visited service center thrice in a year. I prefer Sony for Cameras, TV, Home Theatre and their Audio equipment but not their phones. They never excite me as much as their other electronic devices do.

Who need sales if your company don't profit from 100M unit sold like Huawei, atleast sony selling less but earning more profit thanks to its expensive pricing

Xperia XZ Premium is a great phone. Sony designers should have trim the bezels and it should come in other finishes like matte or metal.

Use Sony, then you'll understand what the difference is. Xperia flagships perform pretty solid. You can't deny that as it is proven already. I am Xperia UI fan as well.
Still I like Samsung in one case. They tried and are trying harder. They play hard where Sony don't play that hard. Sony is also developing, innovating. But Samsung push media to publish a lot, but do nothing in this case. Which is too bad. Tell me honestly, don't you think Xperia flagships look prettier and more elegant than Galaxy Ss?
Don't you think Sony is developing nice technologies too??
I think Sony introduced AR first, Xperia Agent is pioneer of its kind. But people only know about Google Home, Amazon Alexa etc. Sony invented interactive projector called Xperia Touch, how many people know it? But someone will win the market. Sony is doing very well. But people misjudge or don't know about them just because of their very weak marketing strategy.
Really Sony earned my love by its classy, solid and reliable performance, where Samsung failed to earn it from me.
*from S6, Samsung improved a lot though. But still their software optimisation isn't as good as Xperia. Whether you acknowledge or not. It's proved by survey result.

So, this is basically Xperia Z5 Premium successor. Nice. Though there is one thing I find odd. Why is this XZ Premium with bigger overall dimension than Xperia Z5 Premium have only 3230mah battery? X5 Premium had 3430mah battery in a smaller body. Although, I wont worry too much about it since Nougat have native screen resolution control option.
