Waiting for the Pixel 3. Would be HTC's final year and Google will celebrate Android's 10th anniversary although Android was born in 2003 and bought out in 2005 by Google.
I feel the first Pixel is like the G1. Doesn't look like a finished product. Needs more refinements. But a Google phone will be my next device with touches of HTC's premium build quality. Adopting USB-C a lot sooner unlike the overrated S7 edge that lacks it. Google's HDR algorithm is spectacular and the best out there.
The Pixel was quietly the best smartphone of 2016. Even iJustine has one. But people got turned off by the price and design while it excels in important areas like fluid software, good hand in feel, great camera, and solid battery life. The white Pixel is kinda cute and better looking in person than promo shots

LOL it was not well received because of its price only? Hilarious! Poor devices like S7 and G5 was priced premium when those were launched. People just want moarr features when they pay premium, you know like S7's IP68 certification, SD card option etc, and obviously there are idiots who think S7 is premium phone because of its glass design. Whatever those who actually own it will know what or how the Pixel actually is. I will look forward for this second iteration closely, and they should remain premium.

Dear Google, here are my suggestions.
- Keep 5 and 5,5 in display
- Reduce bezels just a little. Body size of 13,7cm for Pixel and 14,8 for Pixel XL. Do not do like LG or Samsung
- Black front, colored back. White front wirh colored back is ugly and it is so Apple.
- 3000 mAh Pixel , 3600 Pixel XL
- Dual front speaker. Upper one between cam and light sensor, not above one of them.
- Full metal body.
- Silver, Gold and Graphite Black

Can't wait for it. But with stereo speakers, more unique design, IP68 water resistance , bigger 5.2" display with same device dimensions, bigger battery, OIS and f1.7 aperture at front and back camera and autofocus on front camera and for God's sake, put your shit together Google and make it available worldwide when you release it, not after months and months in some countries and never in others, look at Apple for inspiration here. If it will have all this feature it will be a real killer device considering the already perfect stock software.

Love how the Sony Xperia XZ Premium ticks all those boxes. Truly PREMIUM handset!

Google needs to worry of keeping 1 in stock. It's silly to even be thinking of 2 when you can't even fix your supply problems.

Hopefully they'll make bezels smaller this time (I'm not shouti bezelless bezelless) or otherwise make use of extra space with huge batteries. , add some character on front (not the plain dumb faces of these pixels) and either get rid of that glass window, or make it prettier like Huawei P series or nova.
I'd say "pixels will stay premium" is a good move, but they should make them worth that premium. Front facing speakers, high resolution audio, hardware keys for shutter and toggles and what not. Premium Detail in design etc.
