Are they really out of their mind? In the real world, it's 499 to 549 USD worth device. Not even penny more.
I said it before and insist on my opinion: they need to discontinue U series right away. Because these shameful devices will bring them nothing but loss of reputation, disappointment and huge critics from customers. They did a serious mistake presenting these devices and now they make even more mistake sending it to market (especially at such ridiculous price).

when I heard LG G6 is 700$ I said overpriced, but at least it's wow with the near bezelless design...but when I hear HTC U Ultra is 900$ I'm speechless...it's more than Iphone 7(850$)? or Pixel(780$) or any Android phone?...wtf is in HTC's skulls? they want bankruptcy? this ugly lame phone with no feature to stand out wants to be one of the most expensive phones out there?
