The new design is futuristic and I believe that Samsung is going in the right direction with this new look that brings a fresh taste to the table. I wish that the device was a bit slimmer though. I hope to see the company offering these handsets at a reasonable price tag and also to give their consumers some pretty decent colors for one to choose from.

This phone is all about business, it barely cuts any corners except for the battery in the regular S8 model but I'm hopeful the new smaller SoC and efficient screen helps extend battery life.

I have seen many videos where experts on youtube has criticised Samsung's idea of keeping the finger printer scanner near to the rear camera, which may have led them to change the design. I am just guessing here.

S6 user and I want to upgrade to S8. However, the bulge of the screen (prone to scratch or break?) and the gloss black - a fingerprint magnet. I'm considering the LG6 too for flat screen and the battery power.

Ok, it's undeniable, that these phones will have the most beautiful design among all the other phones. Apple can't come close with their disastrous ugliness. They are last century.
S8 will have the most georgeous, most perfect looking design, that's unquestionable.
Samsung is inimitable.
BUT! As FPS goes to the back of the phone, it becomes useless!!!!!!
The screen ratio is a bad joke.
The S7 Edge will still remain the king in absolute perfectness, as it is also perfect in functions. So I'll have to skip S8, and really hope they find a way in the S9 to implement FPS under the screen, and they could make an even more bezel-less phone, but with the normal 16:9 ratio, and UHD resolution for VR. Then I'll be in line for the S9.

does the s8 come with dual edge screen or only the s8+ has edge screen.....i hate the whole dual edge screen concept....display has to be like the lg g6 .the g6 has the best display in 2017 flagship phone...!!!!!!!!
