State of Android update: Nougat gains, Lollipop still on top

The MWC brought several compelling phones with Nougat, they should accelerate the growth in the months to come.

            I wouldn't consider going back to iOS unless the iPhone can dual boot Android somehow lol

              Poor performance. My S7 is cheap and great but I fear I have to go back to iOS, its just superior in terms of updates and patches.

                So in other words, Sony(Z3+ and up)/Nexus/Pixel all together own only 0.4% of the Android market....basically next to nothing.

                  My new (Bought 3 wks ago) S7 Edge (On O2) updated to Nougat 7.0 last night. Probably will go to 7.1 at the next big update.

                    Nexus and Pixel has 0.4 of the market, looks "good". Hope Pixel 2 will make a change. :)

                          I think Lollipop was the best Android version from google. The permission thing of Nougat really sucks, some apps keep crashing if do not give full permission to those :(

                            Believe it or not, Nougat is doing (just) slightly better than Marshmallow in the same time of the year.
