Google made phone for one year. they done have a proper factory yet. They used other factory to produce their Pixel. So Let them come ... ios is not best its better in some cases ... google came far ahead of time .. So wait and see.....

Samsung really need all the help to get better sales, because currently they are losing millions of sales to those cheap chinese companies every q and it looks worse every q.

but you could also get all what you just said from Huawei a lot cheaper, so think about it.

This makes want to buy the S8 even more, because I know that I'll be getting the absolute best smartphone there is. From the exquisite build and its quality, the big gorgeous Super AmoledQHD display, the big battery and fast charging, to the software features such as the multiwindow-multitasking, exclusive VR, and all its cutting edge technology. ABSOLUTE BEST! I want to support a company like Samsung even more.

You know for example sony sells under ten million high end phones in quarter, Apple sells average 30 million. Of course their profits are lot bigger. You need to Actually SELL your product to get high profits ;)

Samsung tried, and failed with tizen. Google never really give a crap with pixel.
The rest of the company have to fight fiercely with each other, for the same OS, same chipset and cut corners, beat the price etc etc. Thats why they cannot jack up the price, not because they are generous or kind.. just because they are cornered, they have to fight.
Thats why Apple can profit greatly from it. Cry fowl, or critic Apple all you want, buy whatever Samsung come out, all will not change anything to Apple. There are legions of iOS / MacOS followers, majority of them do not look at sale numbers, nor do they feel they are being ripped off or feel any features lacking.

What ever phone release and what ever spec write donw on the paper, buy it as long as that fruit logo on the back of phone, nothing to worry!

No company like Apple can sell a hundred a millions of high end phones, other such us Samsung Google,and Chinese brands, the number of sell of them is coming From mid range and low end , apple is the king, but I really like Nokia and windows ten mobile

Translation: they GOUGE their customers with a ludicrously high profit margins, there's NO other explanation for it. That's one of the reasons I would never buy an iPhone; it's not the high prices (I have a Samsung S7 which was more expensive than the non-plus iPhone at launch), but it's because I want to get what I pay for! The S7 for example has a ton more features/technology than the equivalent iPhone at a similar price (or, if you get one at the current deals, at a much lower price).

So there is no match but a better competitor for your fruit phone. And if precautions would have been taken and Note 7 would have survived in the market..... let's say fruits wouldn't sell good.

They have very high sale volume this year. No one can deny that.
None of 2016 android flagships are a match. The high volume from androids are the budget line and since they are completing with other android of same specs, they cannot sell high.
R&D does not mean you change racially every year, but improvement across the board and maintain it.

this is not true, they sell their phones at around 2 or 3 times the price it should be, you will see,
the cost* of making an iphone is top around $200 usd for the small version and $250 for the plus version, and they sell at $799, so that is around $600 in profit, thats why they have such a huge share, because they are making it. in comparison a high end sony phone or a samsung one would cost around $400 to $500, obviously due to the higher tech and extra features they have.
(taking into account r&d, for all those isheeps that say this on every comment, there is no r&d when your release 99% almost the same phone with slight variances, add or remove something)
