AnonD-39937, 08 Mar 2017To all people in the comment section, read what this users ... moreWe think that's why we choose iPhone ;)

And we mostly do that for iOS ecosystem, the device itself isn't that important, devices are more or less the same.

This news also shows it, chinese android companies are selling more or less the same what samsung etc. But do it lot cheaper and thats why they are stealing samsung and other big players sales.

With iPhone yuo get unique experience with own ecosystem which no-one else can offer

Happy life, device which always works buttery smooth and fast, has all the newest OS version (2% has newest android version inside) with new features. Can trust that everything what i buy from appstore runs fast and smooth, very easy use, best ecosystem in the market etc.

In short, overall experience thats what i get, if you want tweak and try everything, iPhone clearly isn't for you, luckily we have choices and everyone can buy the product which meet their needs ;)

We, iSheeps will buy whatever our beloved Apple makes. Even if it's just a piece of brick with an Apple logo, cause it will be more superior than other brick and the biggest difference is, it requires iTunes for it to work. The revolutionary iBrick is secure, innovative.

You don't get to call a phone waterproof when the warranty cleary states that it doesn't cover water damage. Apple products are simply overpriced and that's that, there's no leading technology, no inovation apart from a better single-core perfomance than other smartphones ( for now ). An Iphone's best feature is its lightweight iOS with user-friendly interface. Well, until you get to sharing files or getting stuff on your phone, which is overly complicated at best. I don't care who makes more money, I don't get any of that profit in my pocket, but if you people keep feeding the fat guy just because his farts smell better if they get the letter "i" in front, you need to rethink your ability to assess an object's price -quality -performance ratio. I really do not understand what you guys get for the money, and i tried using Apple products too. An Android phone may experience crashes, as does a PC, but you get the freedom to do whatever the hell you want with your device, even downloading a song of the internet. Crazy, right ?
I'm missing something from the iOS experience I guess. And with all the money in the world, if I find a rug that matches my floors for 200 $, but another store offers a small downgrade, but with designer label and an 800 $ price tag, I will still go for the 200 $ one and keep my remaining 600 $ for something else. That's what people call smart shopping. What does this little story say about Apple buyers ?

The reasons why Apple has 80 per cent of the mobile profit are 1) flagships are the only ones who have decent profit margin and they do only flagships 2) they can overprice their phones and sell even more of them because of their huge brand

Their stuff costs about the same to make and sell for about the same as their main competitors (Samsung, HTC, LG etc.) As far as marketing, no one spends as much as Samsung. You may not like them, but let's keep things in perspective here. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

If anything it shows everyone else are selling a bunch of cheap devices. ASP will tell you everything you need. Apple asp stands at $690 whereas Samsung stands at around $230, which means Samsung is selling a boatload more of their Galaxy J series than the GS7 or Note series.
