Nothing new here really!
Moto is the most terrible company with updates, so unless you fool enough to fall to the atrix, remember you won't get updates at all.
Moto always promise but never deliver, this is the 5th time I read news related to moto not updating their devices, like for ever!

that was expected. Moto never updates their mobiles (Milestone & Defy still stuck @ 2.1) & these 2 mobile looks absolute joke. Charm? oh don't joke. theres nothing charming about it, so Motorola decided to keep it charming whole life by freeing it. MOTOROLA CHEATS PEOPLES. at least HTC & LG are better for updates & Samsung for unlocked bootloader.

android is disaster thats why i throw my N1 recently. even android doesnt have sim menu/vpn doesnt work...what a joke..

behavior like this from motorola is what turns me down from buying mobiles like Atrix,, the device are excellent hardware and software wise but then motorola insist on ignoring their costumers, just like SE did a year ago before they started correcting things (even if no completly!) with X10,, mtorola ows to andoid for it's revival and with such behavior it's only losing base!

If Manufacturers weren't so eager to slap their mods on top of a very well established Stock Android, most of these if not all of these update problems wouldn't exist.

This really points to the negative value of manufacture specific modifications on top of android operating system. is marketing so important that manufactures feel obliged to "fix" something that is not broken?

MOTO i actually like ur design since v3 they all excellent build for me...but i think u ruin it now with alot of delay update...im on milestone now stuck with ur F^&&*(() delay update..i think my next phone not atrix now i will try samsung SII

Did people honestly expect it to? It's not part of Moto's main line the Droids so of course they weren't going to support this phone. Anybody expecting them to was just fooling themselves which leads back again to the problem with Android. Too many phones leads to most not being supported. At least Moto supports their main line of phone unlike Samsung in the US at least. Samsung's Galaxy line has terrible support that makes people go to XDA to get the on time updates.

I always thought moto phones were garbage and now I think the company is garbage too! Support your handsets moto, this is one consumer who will never buy from you!
