I dunno about the scoring system. I had a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and the sky was always blown out on automatic settings.

Their testing seems to be i... moreNo wonder, cause dxomark conduct a detailed test which may prove a concern to some, like xperia low score on artifact (which is a concern and visible) while excellent in other, s7 low score in detail (its 12mp vs 23mp, and it's nothing major so people don't care)
While pocketnow is biased(iphone-samsung inclined) and i not fond of them (they mock lg, htc, sony like stupid)

I think P10 plus has even a better camera. It should score even better.
