Was expecting nothing better. would have been significantly more with 835.

S7 Edge could only achieve a high endurance rating because of the efficiency of Super AMOLED screen (inferior to 4K HDR LED screen of the XZ Premium) and large battery capacity. Besides, the important thing is how long that "great" battery life lasts, and the S7 Edge drops its capacity easily in a few months, while the XZ with Qnovo Battery Technology lasts longer

S7 edge is 5.7 inches and 1440p and the G6 is 5.8 inches and 1440p.

The galaxy S5 and XZ are closer to eachother in terms of battery size and screen size.

Galay S5 is 2900mah same as the Xperia XZ but the XZ has a 0.1 inch bigger screen than the Galaxy S5

Yet the XZ endurance is 72 hours and S5 is 83 hours so it looks like Sony's battery optimistaion didn't really help much.

That shows how exynos is the professional mobile choice over the frustrated dragon

S7 Edge has oled and smaller screen.

Combined by the efficiency of SD835 and Sony's excellent battery optimization, the 3,230mAh battery should be enough to power the phone, maybe around 75h endurance rating or so. Besides, the whole screen might not even run in 4K mode, or maybe in some instances

AnonD-270570, 12 Mar 2017Can we compare it with last year's Galaxy S7 edge? S7 edge has a 92 hour endurance rating and G6 is 72 hours so no it isn't anywhere close.

Lg devices always had small capacity batteries which is one of their biggest downfalls.

I want to see how the XZ premium survives with its 4k screen.

I though that LG really concentrated on battery life this year. But no, actually the larger battery is not enough to even match the Samsung S7 from last year (80h score), let alone the S7 Edge which scores like 92h. The G6 is a well-rounded phone, but it's no 2017 flagship. It's more like a high-midrange phone, and should be priced as such. The LG V30 has a chance to be what the G6 missed again this year.

gsma pls specify s7 edge type....and you guys told it perfectly..nougat update was the worst decision i made on the edge

Those results are more than just disappointing. Why pay 700EUR for a 2017 flagship device which won't last a full day in real life usage? 2016 Midrange devices perform way better than this 2017 high-end device.

                        Power hungry and little battery.

A bit thicker body style, More juice, Better battery life, A lot more satisfaction.

You'll see how long S8 with 3000 mah battery is going to last.. I wish samsung would put 3500 mah battery there not such tiny battery..

Shameful at best. there is no comforting words for these results.! how can anyone buy an LG phone?
