It's more like a C with a - in the middle of it, which makes it a E.

I´m pretty sure this is a Symbian phone but not so sure about the final series (C or E series)or if it has a touchscreen

but looks like touch and type is the formula for nokia in the lower end

i do hope nokia changes their mind about symbian and continues polishing it. there are still a lot of people who dont care for eye candy, but simple functionality

If you need camera with focus - get NIKON D3100,
If you need camera with flash - get SB 600 for your DSLR,
If you want to play games - get PS,
If you want to shoot videos - get videocamera,
If you don't know what you want - get Iphone.
If you want just a phone - buy yourself one of these or something else and stop crying.

S40 is still symbian, it has nothing to do with java, its still an os, but you cant do much in it compared to s60. its just another old nooring os of nokia. well, we cant blame nokia if they dont want to join the android fun, they want to be crappy so why bother them, they just want to experience hell for a sec what im thinking is when everything seems so dark ok their side, im pretty sure theyll give android shit, once they do.that. theyll.be back up again. And, how stupid.of.nokia to start selling wp7 phones if they arent.cheap at all, and people dont need phones like that, only business men use wp7, sometimes, i wonder what nokia is thinking

I have the E5. I simply enjoy it. Long battery life, I play the GBA-games of my childhood on it. Price is OK, it's my best phone until now.
I would prefer that all the manufacturers stop the touch madness and produce some good old candy-bar devices with wifi. If Nokia starts OS WP7, I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy Pro for my next phone. I'm sick of just touch, all phones look like the Iphone!!!!
