Loong way to iphone8 note8 surfacephone or similar future devices. Specs battle is not what they should do. I wish to see kind of device like those in last gsma counter clockwise. Or something better than nokia 808 flagship, which can do still things others cannot, like shoot in high resolution for 8K timelapse, fm broadcast, too sunlight legibility, shoot with xenon flash...

Lot of people believe this goal can't be achieved because they are so attached at their little world.
They just understand geek and not marketing, Nokia brand has been well known in the world for years, and they occupied the top.
Africa, India, China were the biggest market, with mobiles with good value and price, Nokia can come back in the top.
Marketing is not childish geek, you have to understand market with its demands, and not think about the powerful hardware who will be bought only by 10 millions people in average.

The nokia 6 has al those things and its not even a flagship! Cant wait to see what Nokia has in stores for us!
Oh and its better to have micro usb cz its going to be international soon and type-c cables in countries like mine are rare and expensive

HMD, I really like that you have high hopes and expectations, but overtaking Apple, Samsung and Huawei is a very big plan, and right now, you are doing nothing in order to make that plan a reality. Launch flagship devices with USB Type-C and features from the ''old'' Nokia that people want, and then we'll start talking and seeing progress, until then - nope.

What a joke! Is he serious? They didn't even use USB-C in ANY of their new phones. If the 3310 is designed to be that second phone that lasts, years, why use old technology for charging? The other Android phones are cheap Chinese knockoffs of other cheap Chinese phones. Total wasted opportunity! Meanwhile, the OnePlus3T is there doing it all right.

I'm wondering, considering the chain Foxconn (Taiwa) -> FIH (Cayman Islands) -> HMD (couldn't find were it is incorporated) -> Nokia Technologies (Finland), who is in charge with design decision, R&D, customer service, etc?
Also, HMD got the right to use Nokia brand for only 10 years (and they lost already 8 months). Logically, FIH & HMD will squeeze every single opportunity to make a buck. This mean low quality components and higher sale prices.
However, I had only Nokia phones and when Elop announced the great future named Windows Mobile, I ordered an E7 right the way.
I hope FIH & HMD won't disappoint.

I am sure it is capable. The recent Nokia 6 was unbendable and seemingly the strongest phone of 2016-17. It is a taste of things to come. The many facets of true Nokia are here, alive and well. I am sure they are re-attracting increasing numbers of its innovative team.
As for the 3310, cant stop looking at those cute little things. Just need to be 3G as well.
I wont be buying any phone till I see what Nokia has in store later in June. And if it is good. I am in. We could do with a little refresh in the market.
