Seems S8 and S8+ (prototype?) having good or maybe perfectly correct white screens points. It's hard to say exacly now because low vodeo quality and before screen testing.

It's the white square on the home button of older iPhones (such as 4S & 5) before they removed it for the flat fingerprint scanner button from iPhone 5S onward. Do you see the resemblance now?! It becomes readily apparent if you have actually used an older iPhone before.....

Why is the fingerprint scanner on the two silver colored versions painted silver? Can it scan through paint?

instead of moving fingerprint scanner to the ugly back samsung should give finger scanner to side power button like sony xperia gives.

These manufacturers, at least the ones leading the market don't care about the customer at all. The only only thing we want is LARGER BATTERIES.............................................WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THINNESS OR HOW SHINY THESE PHONES ARE.................

Unfortunately this is a HUGE dealbreaker.
The FPS has to be on the front. Better yet, if they do dual FPS, one on the front and one on the back.
But just on the back is NONSENSE.
Nowadays you HAVE TO LOCK your phone. 10-40% of the time (depending on the person) you can't use a rear placed FPS to unlock it, when it lays on a flat surface. So your ONLY OPTION is to SWITCH OFF the function. That's unaccaptable.
Samsung f.cked this up big time!
S7 Edge will be the king of all phones on the earth till S9. I really hope, that they will manage to correct this disastrous flaw.

AnonD-404798, 21 Mar 2017yes it is ... software on Samsung phones is just crap .... ... moreEvery phone on Android 5-6 have the rebooting bug.There seems to be a memmory leak issue where the phone just uses up RAM and android cant clear this RAM.When the whole RAM is used up it just reboots.Phones with low ram are the ones which are affected frequently.Galaxy S5 does this every 1-2 days.Sometimes its just plain unbearable.BTW I Will get a free Moto Z soon

This whole smudge rubbish is just that.. on my J5 ( backup device lol).. if practised doing the same thing over it's speaker which is in the same place..i never once miss it.. touch the camera even once lol.. my brain KNOWS where to put my finger.. and the fingerprint unlock won't even get used much with the world FIRST iris scanner phone (after Note7).. silly headlines
