To each their own. Even the Note 4 itself, which I like, is too big for me. I like it because of it's very loud volume but at the same time don't like it because of it's size. One handed use is important to me...not just the bells and whistles.

All those who complaint and winning on the specs are not as per your personal requirements the solution is simple: build your own mobile company then you can get what you want to

All you can do is commenting on the specs but don't know the reason behind and not appreciated works of engineer who working days and nights to make sure the specs are followed the company requirements

        Why not appreciated works engineer?

In fact I'm not Samsung fanboys, I'm using cheap China brand Xiaomi Redmi Note 2

Remember it's a S6 with a built in battery. It's not a S5 where you can just pop out the battery and put in a new one.

If these dimensions are correct I'm disappointed. It was said that the footprint of the smaller S8 would be the same or similar to the footprint of the 5.1" sized screen of the S5, S6 or S7. The width and thickness is perfect but the height is too long. At 148.9mm it's basically 7mm taller than the previous 5.1" Galaxy S devices. Height matters to me even if the width is narrower. To top it off they remove the beloved home button which was supposed to compensate for the bigger screen in a similar sized body. I would have preferred if they made it 5.5" and kept the height as the predecessors OR keep the home button and made the screen 5.3" or 5.4 or whatever screen size they could get at maximum with their minimal bezel plan. This is a huge turn off for me no matter what features it has. I don't want a phone to be sticking out of my pocket and I don't intend on getting any sort of carrying bag for a phone. Women may be ok with this size because they always have a big bag walking around with.

I was all set to get the S8 but it is so noticeable narrower than the S7E I will have to go up the the plus which is taller than I would have liked but at least the basic width of the S7E. I don't like this trend towards narrow phones at all. I think people will find the plain S8 too narrow.

Mat, 29 Mar 2017relax. don't emo pleaseYeah. I mean Samsung is pretty much giving you mid rangers at this points. Shut up and pay them cause they come in pretty packing. Don't be emo about it. Also the Chinese customers should stop being emo and stop bleeding Samsung, I mean imagine that a phone with the same dimensions as S8 has 1000 mah more battery? Who wants that? Don't be emo, buy a phone that dies before the day ends and shut up. Cause that's what will happen after a year of use...

It has a bigger screen, the phone as a whole will consume. How much more I don't know. But I guarantee you this phone will get lower "browsing score". And certainly lower SOT times.

Looks great and promising but really worried with the battery life. Even the smaller S7 edge has 3600mah and this phone has 3000mah? I am planning to buy but if the battery life really sucks it is a deal breaker for me.
