Someone Else, 29 Mar 2017Galaxy S7 edge (5.5") = 150.9 x 72.6 mm Galaxy S8 (5.8") =... moreBtw those were not the rumours. S8 was supposed to be in the same body as S7 and S8+ in the same body as s8+. Obviously those rumours were wrong, in fact it was known ever since we do understand out about the tall aspect ratio that they were to use.

I mean what we're they thinking? When viewing 16:9 content (most content out there), this is a 5.2 inch screen, not a 5.8 inch screen. So hardly impressive what they did. They simply elongated the screen of S7 , making it uncomfortably tall (and thus harder to use) for no good reason.

Those tall screens can scarcely be used by any content properly, my VR if those screen are RGB

Joselius, 29 Mar 2017Do you even know what mm means? Its not that tall or big. S... moreI was comparing S8 to S7! They really bumped up the sizes!
And battery, I know they are playing safe but they are losing their touch, S7 edge with 3600mah battery was a fine set and LG has 3300mah battery in the same size of S8!

SAMSUNG everything got bigger better but you never put up a better battery !! How interesting !! The numbers mAh never exceeded 4000marks for flagship S LINE. How a phablet size screen has 3000mAh battery not enough juices for a day.

Zenodroid, 29 Mar 2017Thinner and smaller battery, for a better and bigger blast ... moreno matter how thin and nice, w/o battery power, S8 is nothing. so stingy on battery.

Robbie, 29 Mar 2017I probably haven't made a phone call in two years. Its more... moreSurprised you haven't. Bosses and pending interviews do need to be called. Customers need to be called. Family emergencies need to be called. I don't do calls as often like before, but telephone functionality is still critical during critical moments. Can save lives instantly. Not just email, FB Messenger, or texts.

We will know for sure in about 90 minutes what this S8/S8+ is all about. I personally don't want it because I HATE Samsung's skin on Android. Watch Dave Lee's things he hates with his S7e on YouTube to know what I mean. Pure Android is the way to go. Samsung will never fix it and their fans will always ask for more RAM..

NOKIA 8,baby. Then Pixel 3 or 4 after.

                        S6 : 6.9 mm
                        S7 : 7.something
                        S8 : 8.0 mm
Nice to see the thinness craze fading, but what Is the benefit? Same battery in bigger and thicker body and big screen.

Instead of writing "specs revealed" should have written "dimensions revealed" . Specs we already know. There may be some rumors about dimensions but TENAA confirm it. Actually, dimensions are most important bit of knowledge we get from TENAA. other things we already know in most cases.

Samsung, please. The footprint is still too much for me.

Give me max length 138cm Galaxy S8 please!

Why the hell did Samsung not go with two sizes that are actually very different? Yes the 5.8 fits in a small frame but why not make a 5.5 or 5.2 inch phone and the 6.2 inch or 6 inch?
